ISHITA's POV

It's been almost two months—52 days, to be exact—since I married the love of my life. Arre yaar, mujhe sharam aa rahi hai, hehe.

I just wrapped up my shoot for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 and I am so excited to finally go back home. My heart races at the thought of seeing him again. Abhishek's been occupied in training for the upcoming IND vs PAK T20 series. It's his first IND vs PAK as the captain of Team India, and I haven't seen him this nervous in a long time. It's like he's carrying the weight of the whole nation on his shoulders. I don't blame him, India vs Pakistan games can get overwhelming.

But that's not the only thing on my mind right now. I haven't told anyone yet. I'm waiting to tell them in person... to tell him in person. I smile to myself, imagining the look on his face. How do I even begin? Should I rehearse? Maybe it'll make me less nervous. I turn to the mirror, taking a deep breath.

Patidev, meri kok mein aapka ansh pal raha hai. Oh God, ISHITA!! That's too dramatic! Main aisi kyun hoon??

Okay, Take 2...
Mr. Abhishek Sharma, (I stand straighter, trying to sound formal) main aapke bacche ki maa ban ne wali hoon. No. No, no, no! Why does this sound like I'm in some 80s movie?!

Fine. Take 3...
Abhay, mera kuch khatta khaane ka mann kar raha hai.

Hey Bhagwan! None of these sound right!

Maybe I'll just blurt it out. Straight-up. Like, "I missed my period, took a pregnancy test, and well... I'm pregnant." Ugh. That sounds so... clinical.

I sigh, running a hand over my belly. It's been a week since I found out, and I still can't fully process it. A part of me is nervous, but another part of me... I can't stop smiling. I went to the doctor to confirm it, and when she said, "Yes, you're pregnant Ishita," my world changed. Just like that.

We're going to have a baby.

It's crazy how quickly time flies when you're with the right person. It feels like just yesterday that we got married, and now... here I am, carrying our baby.

I can't wait to see his reaction. Will he cry? Will he hug me and laugh? Or will he stand there in stunned silence, trying to process the news? Knowing him, it'll probably be all three at once. But whatever his reaction, I know one thing for sure—he's going to be the best father. Just like he's the best husband.

We wrapped the shoot a day earlier than expected so I'm gonna go and give them a surprise.

THIRD POV
IN AMRITSAR

Ishita steps out of the car, a wide grin spreading across her face as she's greeted by hugs from Maya and Arjun. She walks up to the door and rings the bell. The door opens, revealing Abhishek's mom, who looks around suspiciously, her brow furrowing.

Abhishek's mom (narrowing her eyes, glancing around): "Kon hai?"

She turns to Maya and Arjun, who only return blank, innocent stares. Her suspicion grows until, in a quick move, Ishita pops out from behind the door.

Both women scream in unison—one from shock, the other from excitement.

Ishita: "Kya hua, Maa-in-law?"
