MINDY PULLED INTO THE DRIVEWAY OF DEWEY'S HOUSE WHEN SHE HAD GOTTEN A NOTIFICATION, she had gotten a notification as she put the car into park.

Tatum hopped out the car before going to the back to get Artemis, she opened the door and let the dog jump out.

"Thanks for the ride." Tatum said as she was about to close the car door.

"Wait," Mindy shouted, stopping the blonde from closing the door, "Amber's throwing Wes a memorial. You going?"

She stood there for a moment, contemplating if she actually wanted to be around Amber, but she was extremely bored, "Yeah, let me just put Artemis in her kennel."

Tatum and Artemis ran inside, where she quickly instructed the dog into her kennel. She then went outside and got in Mindy's car.

Is it a longish drive to Amber's house, it was just as Tatum remembered it. It was packed full of cars, so they had to park in the street, which even that was filled with cars.

Both girls got out the car and walked up the long pathway to the front door. There were teenagers everywhere, it was so crowded they could barley get through the front door.

She assumed Amber's parents weren't home.

"This feels like a kickback, not a memorial."

Mindy hummed a response, "I guess."

They moved further into the house, forcing their way through the living room and to the kitchen, where they spotted Chad and Amber.

"Hey, Tatum. Mindy," Chad greeted them, "Shots." He held up two shot glasses in both hands, holding it out to them.

Since her birthday was a was hour away she decided to have some fun, so she grabbed the shot glass and threw it back before handing it back to him, "Thanks."

"Who wants to play beer pong?" Some guy shouted from the dining room.

Now that sounded like fun, and was actually one of her favorite party activities.

"I'm gonna go play." Tatum said, walking away from the three of them and toward the dining room.

There were ten red solo cups formed into a triangle on each end of the table.

"Who's gonna challenge me?" A guy in a black letterman jacket said, "The king of beer pong."

She pushed through the front of the crowd that had gathered around the dining table. Tatum couldn't help but roll her eyes at the boy's words, "Me."

He chuckled, "Oh yeah. Like you're gonna beat me, new girl."

"I'll try." Tatum announced, making her way over to the other end of the table.

"Okay, I'll go easy on you." He said. "I'll even let you go first." He threw the orange ping pong ball at her.

She caught it with ease, "There's no need." She said before aiming the ball at the solo cup closest to her.

It went right in, and the crowd erupted into cheers.

He scoffed, "Lucky shot." He grabbed the solo cup, took out the ball before taking a the red plastic cup and drinking the beer in one long sip. He tossed the cup aside before tossing the ball, it bounced off the rim of the cup and fell onto the table.

Tatum laughed as she picked up the ball, "That's the best you got?" She taunted, "Because, I'd actually like to get drunk tonight."

He scoffed again, "Whatever."
