Its hard to admit falling for a person who would never love you back
But its harder to admit that the person you love chooses to leave it unrequited
Like they love you too its just different
That you fell for a ghost
A person who is there but not physically
They're thousands of miles away
But you turn each corner thinking they're next to you
They text or call you when they need something
You'll pick up the phone even if you're at your job
But if you tried to call them, they'd wait hours to respond
And when they do its only a 3 word response
Maybe 5 if you're lucky
"I was busy"
"Im sorry i was busy"
It's okay love, i understand what its like to be a ghost
So i fell for yours
After years of losing my own
