I thought about how i felt about you for a long time
Yet there was never a moment where i fully realized
That i had fallen for you
It happened slowly, like how you know the sky at night is still blue
It just gets darker and darker as time passes by
I wanted to know why
Or at least how this was possible but there's just somethings you know
Some moments may glow
Longer than the rest
But around you I always tried my best

I was never one to believe in love at first sight
But what do you do if every moment from the day you met is so bright
Do you start believing because you can't fathom not knowing where it started? How it started?
Or do you build the walls up higher, leaving it far more guarded
Push her to walk away
Forcing you to move on from the spot you desperately wanted to stay
I hopelessly want to believe in love at first glance
I know it could potentially happen, but because of my past i'm scared of what might just turn out to be a trance
All of my thoughts around the matter tend to flutter
Because of that when I go to speak i start to stutter
So i tried for months to get you off my mind
But it's proven to be such a grind
You send one text
My recollections of you and i start to remix
So I stop texting for a couple days
Till something happens and all i wanna do is say
"Hey, you wont believe this"
I think subconsciously I do believe in love at first notice
Seeing how when I thought about you I've always lost my focus
