I've felt my head underwater
The sting of the rain on my arms as i stick them out of the car
The bones crack and fracture underneath my skin
I've felt the hurricane in my mind
Running from my fears, feelings of being scared
Hiding from my past, feeling the pain as it walks past searching for me
I've felt the taunts, the teases
The pokes and prodding
Attempts at making me lose my sanity
I've felt lost hope
Holding on to letting go's
Lost faith and broken realities
I know the place you are feels like hell
But the worst situations have the simplest solutions
I know you know how to fix it
I know you will find your way out
You just need to find your light
Your reason to keep moving
So put your hand over your heart
In the silence and the dark
Listen as your heart beats
Watch yourself start to come around
To be lost is to have had faith
To be broken is to have hoped
To be hurting is to have loved
You have all the resources to find who you are now
Not who you were
