[ Amara’s ]

Since that night, Machiko has admitted that her manager knows about us. I was scared to let her go, but I was also scared to just contradict her dreams for me.

I left the condominium that night; it's been 2 days. I've been cancelling my projects and isolating myself in a dorm where no one knows where I am.

I didn't let her explain further; I ran away. I was too exhausted.

There were a lot of missed calls from my friends. And especially from Machiko. I bit my lower lip while stopping my tears from flowing. 

I was already teary-eyed while reading some of her text messages.

Machiko: Baby, please

Machiko: I'm sorry, I didn't mean to. He found out somewhere

Machiko: Talk to me

Machiko: Amara, goddamn, I'm begging you

Machiko: Don't do this to me, please

Machiko: I love you

Machiko: We shouldn't ruin what we have

Machiko: Why are you doing this to me?

I was lost. I didn't know what to do. I wanted to just escape our reality and end this happily.

When suddenly Skylar’s number popped up, she was dialling my number. I decided to just answer already.

"Hoy, jusko ka! Nasaan ka ba?! Anong nangyayari sa'yo?!" She panicked on the call.

"Calm down," I sighed.

"Paano?!? Hoy, Amara, sinasabi ko talaga sa'yo!" I heard Sadie's voice, too.

"Amara, umuwi ka na," Galilea calmly said.

"I'm so tired," I suddenly broke down, and they were silent for a few minutes just to listen to me cry. "I... I want to vanish with her."

"Amara, naiintindihan namin, okay? Kumalma ka, huwag ka gumawa ng masama riyan." Sadie spoke.

"Saan ka ba? Pupuntahan ka namin," Galilea added.

"Amara, kailangan mo kami. Sige na." Skylar convinced me in the softest voice I've ever heard from her.

I ended up sending my address, and they didn't take long to find me. As soon as they saw me, we hugged tightly. There was no tomorrow for more.

"Nag-alala kami sa'yo, sobra. Putangina," Skylar uttered while tearing up. They expressed their worries about me a few minutes later.

"Machiko is looking for you. everywhere," Galilea sadly informed me.

"I'm breaking up with her," I stated, and my voice broke in the end.

"Huh? Bakit? Jusko!" Sadie's eyes widened.

"Hala naman uy, ano ba kasing nangyari? Bakit kayo nagkaka-ganito?" Skylar asked as well.

"Her... manager found out." I bit my lower lip and looked down.

[ Machiko's ]

"Our manager? Alam niya?" Juniper looked shocked while talking to me. I nodded when she asked that.

"Hays!" Caily sighed.

"Ang... hirap naman." Maise was struggling for us. They were too devastated.

"Hindi ka papakawalan dito, Machiko. May contract, it was legally made." Caily sounded so sad when she said those words.

"I know that. I was scolded so hard." I sighed. It's been two days since Amara didn't message or meet me.

"Sobra pa sa hard, napamahal ka na kasi. You guys didn't think about it too much in the first place." Juniper sadly smiled at me.
