Edgar approached Chester and took him outside for a few minutes to talk about what had been happening between him and Mandy, leaving Colette alone with Mandy.

He entered another room with Chester, while poor him had no idea what was going on.

He shut the door behind them, and they were now in the living room.

Edgar sat down on the couch, and Chester followed along and sat beside him. Edgar put his hands together and looked at Chester with a slightly severe but more concerned look. Chester began listening intently.

"Chester... something's not right with you. And Mandy."

Chester didn't respond for a second, deep in thought.

"Well... you are right."

"I saw the way Mandy looked at you. Why did she look at you that way?"

"She looked at me?"

"Yes. She couldn't keep her eyes off of you until we hugged..."

Chester remembered that moment, and his expression got more serious as he looked to the side— the scenery with Mandy hugging Edgar— he didn't like that. He seemed bothered, and Edgar noticed that. Whatever Chester says next, he knows deep down he still appreciates Mandy and most likely wants her back.

"I... I remember that." Chester said almost bluntly. Then he shook it off.

"But I'll never forgive her for what she did. She went too far."

"Well, what did she do?"

"She chose a storage room over me. A freaking *storage room*."

"What do you mean?"

Chester took a deep breath.

"We argued... and got into a small fight. She shot her burning-hot candy from her candy dispenser right at my arm."

He showed Edgar the bandage on his arm before continuing his explanation:

"Of course, we made a mess in the storage room; that's where the fight happened. And guess what? Instead of helping a human being, she went to clean up the storage room. Only Tessa stayed for a bit to make sure I was fine."

Edgar took all that information in, thinking about the response he should give.

"Well... do you think Mandy was mad herself, and that's why she didn't help you? You know she's not exactly the person that can control her emotions. Maybe that's why she shot you."

"I don't care." Chester said bluntly.

"Are you sure? You can't just— forget about Mandy just because-"

Chester snapped.

"She hurt my feelings! Do you have any idea how backstabbed I felt?!"

"Calm down! Listen, you can be mad at her all you want... but even *I* miss your little friendship. I hope you two make up."

"Well, I don't," he said sharply before getting up and making his way out of the room. Edgar got up and grabbed his wrist.

"Chester-"

"No more."

He broke out of his grip and exited the room.

"Where are you going?!"

"Back to the bedroom."

Edgar sighed and followed along.
