What If Tim And Lucy Were Childhood Best Friends?

He got out the car to talk to Isabel. She couldn't believe he had been married and never told her. I meant i guess they never spoke but-

Lucy was trying to distract herself. She shouldn't think like that and take herself accountable for something that was NOT  her fault.

She could see tim's agitated arm movements and his angry face. He was practically shouting at her. Her greasy face and hair said the words for her. She was a druggie and there was no doubt about it.

Considering how weird tim was about 'formality' and how she had to be PERFECT for tim and his dumb tests. He was way less tense when he was a kid and sure maybe people change but he had changed entirely.

He got back in the shop and his demeanour had changed completely. He was pissed off.

Tim: "What have you been doing, Chen?" 

Lucy: "Nothing, i-i'm sorry tim."

Tim: "Sir, you will address me as sir or officer Bradford." he snapped.

What had got him in such a mood? Lucy thought.

Lucy: "I didn't know you had an ex wife."

Tim: "No personal stuff in the shop chen."

It was just dead silence. You could hear a pin drop. Finally they got a call. A 211 near to their location.

Lucy: "control, 7 adam 19 show us responding."

They pulled up at the location and it was a pregnant lady arguing with her husband.

Lucy: "HEY, stop arguing!"

Tim: "What seems to be the problem here?"

Husband: "This HOE cheated on me!"

Lady: "I'm pregnant why the fuck would i cheat on you?"

Tim: "knock it off."

The husband threw a bottle.

Lucy: "Well now you're under arrest."

They arrived back at the station after awkwardness in the shop.

Tim: "How do we process a criminal officer chen?"

Lucy gave him a look. She had to be professional but it was weird. He was still mad but she could tell there was something he needed to get off his chest.

Lucy explained how to process a prisoner and gave tim a smug look. He hated that she was right and actually doing well at this point .

They got back in the shop.

Tim: "So..wha- did you not think of calling?"

Lucy: "i thought you didn't wanna talk?"

It was awkward...
