AT THE HOSPITAL

Tim and lucy are at the hospital, awaiting news if it was truly food poisoning when lucy got a call from detective harper.

Nyla: "Lucy we need you here, the undercover mission has been pulled back to today be there quickly."

Lucy: "shoot i gotta go, they can check me up later right?"

Lucy said as she ran off in a hurry.

Tim: "i don't think they-"

AT THE STATION

Nyla: "chen your going undercover as a bartender."

Lucy: "Okay."

Nyla: "Word is that there's some major drug trafficking going down in the snake ice bar. Your job is to go undercover as a thirsty bartender"

Lucy: "Sure i have a couple of identities how about.. Kiara Deblinksky? She's a bartender and from new york."

Nyla: "perfect, you'll be at the motel and we don't know how long you'll be in but if you need us to pull the plug you say the word and your out of there."

Lucy: "Understood"

about a month later Lucy is still in her undercover mission, only until now action has started to take place. She's getting ready for her 4th shift at snake ice bar.

Lucy is getting changed into her flared jeans and tank but they don't fit for some reason..

Lucy: "come on why won't these darn pants just go up.."

She finally got them to button up. Must've been the beers she was having to drink with people to gain their trust.

She was feeling less-sick but still not completely right.

Anyway she headed to her shift seeing the targets.
This was the first move she'd made in weeks.

UC lucy: "Hey boys, what can i get you?"

?: "a shot of rum, keep em coming."

UC lucy: "yes sir, what brings you here?"

?: "you know, business."

UC lucy: "i see well you got a girlfriend?"

?: "nah single but maybe i would like to change that huh princess?"

Suddenly lucy clasped her chest. Suddenly she had awful heartburn it was hard to think.

the man leaned forward.

?: "are you single?"

UC lucy: "mhm."

?: "is that so? Ya know my mom always told me that when she was pregnant with me she had awful heartburn. You ain't pregnant are you little lady?"

it finally occured to lucy. She was having pregnancy symptoms. Weight gain, heartburn and nausea but the test was negative?

UC lucy: "nah, but being your baby mama would be a dream."

Lucy tossed him another shot while tracing her hands over his hair.

UC lucy: "Looks like my shifts over, i'll see you tomorrow?"

?: "you bet and maybe you'll meet a few of my crew too."

UC lucy: "oh i'd love to."

Lucy left and returned back to the motel. She had to get changed before meeting with harper for her check in. She looked in the mirror at her stomach and noticed it did start to go out a little more than it used to. However her head was in a loop. she wasn't lucy chen right now she was kiara deblinksky and she had to be focused.

She got into a van where harper was waiting for her. She took her temperature etc.

Lucy: "hey harper?"

Nyla: "mm?"

Lucy: "i.. i think i might be pregnant i don't know though.."

Nyla: "we should pull the plug."

Lucy: "No, no! I can do this im so close please."

Nyla: "fine but remember just say the word and we can pull you out."

Lucy: "i'm fine."

She left the van and got back to her motel. She was probably pregnant but she couldn't take the risk of knowing and losing focus but this was stressing her out even more?

She got out and bought two tests. Last time it was negative and if that was false then she would be 3 months pregnant by now. She searched up 3 month bumps and it was identical.

She took the test and waited those agonising two minutes and sure enough it read Two red lines..

"damn." she whispered.

Obviously it was tim's but what would she do. She told him it was negative now what? She couldn't even contact him until this mission was over.
