What If Tim And Lucy Were Childhood Best Friends?

2 months later

Lucy had finally completed her mission. She'd caught the enemies and was 5 months pregnant at this point and there was an obvious bump. Little did she know that harper had notified tim on their last checkup but now she was going to harper for the last time.

Nyla: "you are.. definitely pregnant."

Lucy: "is it that obvious?"

Nyla: "Amazing job on the mission lucy, seriously."

Lucy: "Thanks, i'm so ready to get back home though."

Nyla: "I bet you are and also i told tim about you thinking you were pregnant. I know it's against protocol but i wouldn't want you and your 5 month pregnant self walking in there and he thinks it's from one of the crooks you just put in cuffs."

Lucy: "No yeah i appreciate it."

They drove back to the station talking about baby stuff until they pulled up at the station.

Tim stared in awe as they both walked into the station in what seemed like slo-mo. Lucy's beauty had him gazing at her for seconds. Her leather pants and vest which was now looking like a crop top on her.

Grey: "Well done officer Chen and congratulations."

Lucy: "Thank you, sir."

Tim ran up and hugged Lucy tight. This wasn't exactly how they'd planned it but it didn't matter. They could no longer deny their feelings for each other.

Suddenly the chief pulled up outside of the station. People were whispering as she walked up to lucy.

Chief: "Officer lucy chen i am awarding you a golden ticket for your successful mission. You can choose any position and we will train you."

Lucy: "Oh my gosh thank you.."

She shook her and and started sobbing to tim, lopez and nyla. It all felt like a fever dream.

The passing weeks went on like a blur. They found out they were having a baby girl and when she was born she was adored.

They named her Zoe Bradford.

The second she was brought home from the hospital lucy went to her room to sleep. She was exhausted but tim stood there talking to people. Later on lucy got up to hug and thank everyone.

Zoe was so little but so happy. She was always giggling and smiling especially when angela held her. That's when tim got down on one knee...

Tim: "Lucy chen, having you as my boot has been the greatest joy of my life and i always knew i would marry my childhood friend. I was just unsure of who but that's when i met you. Will you marry me?"

Lucy in between hormonal cries she said "of course, yes yes!!"

They kissed and the rest is down to history.
