Wind and flakes furiously battered the are, causing a near complete white out as two figures trudged through the ever deepening snow. "It's been blizzarding off and on for a week straight. I don't think anyone alive is crazy enough to be out here," the smaller figure told his companion, voice raised. The man had dark hair, olive skin, and almond shaped eyes hinting at his mixed heritage of Japanese and Brazilian. His companion was a huge bald man with pale skin and cold gray eyes that were extremely haunting even to those who were his allies.

And like most of their group, he boasted at least one cybernetic limb. It was common for those in their group to have such things. A missing arm or leg. Often they had cybernetics implanted into their eyes to improve their vision and could even see in the dark, though it was often colorless and monotone like an old television show.

"I know," the large man said, voice equally raised. "You heard the High Elder, though. It's a dangerous time of year, and that doesn't stop travelers. Especially if they aren't from around here, they rarely know how to seek shelter before it's too late."
