Sitara woke up with pain in her whole body. She tried to move but failed to do so she tilted her head and found Rehan hugging her so tight as if she would vanish if he lost his grip. She stared at his face for a while and looked at him carefully.

She never observed him keenly as he was always doing stuff or roaming around not standing still. Today she can notice his facial structure peacefully. Perfect eyes, sharp nose, pink lips which has kissed her multiple times yesterday sharp jawline over all he is handsome way too handsome for his own good.

How can a man look so innocent and cute while sleeping but a pure devil with a tainted heart when he wakes up? Her mind wondered. Does she love him? A big NO! Is she attracted to him physically? A big YES. feeling physical attraction has nothing to do with love.

She can never love this man in her life. She swore to keep hating him deep down while showing love on the surface. Be a good wife, keep him happy and stay out of trouble. He is paying for her father's treatment as well. What if he stops it in anger? A person like him can do anything, even lie on his God's name as well.

She sighed and decided to get up, detaching him from her very carefully. Today is her first day as the daughter in law of this house. Even though no one accepted her yet nothing was going to change the truth.

She took a bath and wore her old clothes and covered herself with the stole properly. She looked at herself in the mirror and found so many marks given by Rehan to her. Her neck is filled with bite marks and not to mention her lips are swollen as well. Thankfully the Walima (reception) is not today.

What kind of married woman is she? No Alta (a red liquid used by hindu women on hand and feet), no nuptial chain, no vermilion in her hair partition.

She has seen other girls back in her city. All the newlyweds will do proper Solah Shringar after marriage and here she is. No one can tell the difference between a married or unmarried girl. She herself isn't feeling like a married woman minus the part that she is not a Virgin anymore.

That's not how she imagined her life after marriage but it's fine. Where the husband is forced the marriage is forced the married life is forced its better to not look married.

She went downstairs to make tea and breakfast for everyone. No one wakes up early in the morning. So she is positive only maids are working and awake and she wasn't wrong either.

Most of the maids pity her but a few are jealous as well. Anyone will be if suddenly you see your co-worker maid is the wife of your master and she can apparently order you around. They have made up stories in their head as well about how she trapped Rehan and got married to him. A few even commented that they look better than her still she got the chance to be his wife. All the elderly people in the house pity her luck as no one wants to be with a man like Rehan who has such a bad reputation.

Money can't give you peace if the man who is supposed to be with you till death do you both apart is least interested in you and sleeps around with other women. Mental peace is every thing and sometimes even the richest people don't get the luxury.

Sitara greeted them politely and started preparing things. The maids made her understand what they eat and how they like their meal to be served. Sitara took a note of everything and prepared things accordingly. She knows Rehan will force her to eat non veg and cook as well but she will try her best to avoid it as long as she can. He will make her learn Urdu as well. She isn't prepared for the changes yet.

She went back to Rehan's room to give him tea and wake him up for work. Yes, Rehan works as well. He isn't always slacking around.

Rehan was still sleeping when Sitara went to call him. She placed the cup on the side table and went near to call Rehan.
