Chapter-7

Author's pov

Damien travelled in his soul form and finally reached the layer of clouds in the sky Where Heaven is. His heart was beating loudly as he was feeling really nervous about meeting Samantha after such a long time.

He has tried to look his best today to meet her.

He flew over the clouds and stood in front of the gates of Heaven. It was locked so no one from outside could enter inside as his creator told him. Only Samantha had the power to open and close the door of the entrance he knew.

He tried to push the door hoping it may open but it didn't so he started banging the door. His voice won't reach inside so he has to bang the door for Samantha to know that he is here.

He did that for a while but nothing happened. The gates were closed as before if anything changed, that was the gate was locked with more power.

He didn't understand why it happened? After banging for like an hour he got tired so he went back to his body.

He was frustrated and confused. Why couldn't he open the door? Why Samantha didn't respond to his calls? He was left heartbroken and sad with all the hope crushed that he had.

When he came back Lilithia was sitting beside his body waiting for him to return.

When he opened his eyes he found Lilithia waiting for him.

"Dark Lord, you came back! Did you meet her? Your soulmate? How is she?" Lilithia asked many questions at once

"I couldn't meet her," Damien replied and Lilithia became mute completely

"You couldn't? Why didn't you find the way to Heaven?" she asked him after a short pause

"I did but couldn't open the gates of Heaven and she didn't open them for me either. I don't know what is wrong with her. Maybe she didn't realise that it's me. It's possible that she doesn't know I went there to meet her. If she knew it's me then she would have opened the gates immediately." Damien said in a way as if he was consoling himself rather than guessing what might have happened there today

Lilithia didn't like that he came back empty handed. He is doing so much for Samantha to meet her and bring her back but in return he only got disappointment. She loves him very much as much as he loves Samantha. That's the irony of their life. Lilithia loves Damien, Damien loves Samantha and Samantha? She is nowhere near Damien. The triangle is not completed but it does exist. The first ever love triangle which existed. She will do everything to keep him happy and protected from everything even though he protects her physically but she is his mental strength or that's what she thinks.

"Dark Lord, are you sure that she didn't know it's you who went to visit her?" Lilithia asked sceptical

"Yes of course, what might be the reason otherwise? I will go there again tomorrow." Damien said in a finality in his tone that's why Lilithia didn't said anything to him

Damien continued his work as everyday but that thought why Samantha didn't open the doors was still eating him no matter what he said to Lilith his own thoughts are distracting him. He decided to medicate and summon the Elements Of Nature to ask them about how to enter Heaven.

He divided the work between his creatures which he has created over the time to help them.

He sat down to medicate and summon them. Once they appeared in front of him he asked them what he wanted to do.

"How can I enter Heaven?" he asked them

"Only positive creatures who have white wings can enter inside. You can try using your wings which are pure white. Entering Heaven isn't that easy as you think it is Dark Lord be prepared for the hardships which you need to face" one of them replied and all 3 of them vanished
