Author's pov

Anya woke up in the morning when it was almost 9 am. She slept for a long time and now she is feeling fresh. Her head is paining but not like before.

She got up from the bed and went inside the washroom. There she found a fresh set of clothes for her. It's her dress which she brought many days back before her engagement but forgot to take. She thought she would take it afterwards but that afterwards never came. She sighed and freshened up fast. Changing her clothes she went towards Caliban's room but it was empty. She checked the dustbin and found all the half burned things there. She collected all the things in her bag and wore the ring back which he gave her. He gave her two rings and she will wear both of them.

Her heart clenched in pain because of it but why is he doing this? She didn't do anything of her own will right? It's the Dark Lord's fault that they lied to her which led to this situation.

It's their fault not hers and Caliban has to accept it no matter what happens. She loves him and there is no denial in that. Likewise he loves her and there is no denial about that either. She is his and he is hers and that's the end of the discussion.

He can't punish her for something which is not her fault to begin with. She told herself that and decided to meet him at any cost. She went downstairs and found him having his breakfast. He is ready to leave for work as he is all dressed up in a black 3 pc suit along with his watch. His hairs are set perfectly making him look insanely hot. Anya gulped hard seeing him like that. Something has changed but what? She doesn't know that.

She came near him but he didn't bother to look at her. Even the servants left after seeing her there.

"Caliban." she called out his name which made him stop eating

"Have a seat and eat, my driver will drop you off at your home. I hope after that we won't see each other again. I won't bother you or your family anymore Anya. I expect the same thing from you as well yeah I will ask a maid to pack the medicines as well. In the prescription it's mentioned when to eat it." Caliban said without any emotions as if he is a robot not human

He continued eating after his rant all this time he didn't bother to look at her either. As if he is talking to air.

"Caliban look at me at least while you talk. Why are you doing this? I know whatever happened that was wrong but what can I do about it? I was scared of you and them. I didn't want to die like them. You don't know how Sheryaar killed Marium. He was pathetic with her in the name of love. Damien lied to me okay! He told me a whole different story about them which was a white lie nothing else. You saw Suryakanta's story as well, don't you know what happened? I bet he killed her as well even though I don't know what happened to them but I can bet my life that he is the reason she died." Anya said and Caliban stopped eating not because she was correct about Suryakanta but because she said she was afraid that he will kill her

He really wants to slap her hard for thinking like that about him but he doesn't have any rights on her so he won't do that.

"I am not saying anything to you am I? Then why are you explaining yourself? Did I ask for any explanation? No right then? About Suryakanta, well she kinda deserved it after what she had done to him. I don't support his actions completely towards her when she was a kid but if it was me I would have definitely killed her out of anger for what she did. Don't comment when you don't know what is true. Never take any action when you're not aware of the whole thing. I am not commenting on that Sheryaar guy because I don't know anything about them or his story. Now if you please let me eat I have a long day ahead." Caliban said and started eating again
