Chapter-21 (Mehendi)

Aarushi POV

The time really passed very quickly. It was like yesterday I met him and  after three days we are going to get married.

Tomorrow is my mehendi and all my house is filled with relatives and here my papa is busy in decoration, my bade papa is busy with catering and my chachu is going through the guest list again and again.

But here as I'm the bride no one is giving me attention. I can't believe that I have to live my house my family in 3 days. By this thought my eyes became teary. When jiju saw this he came and just hugged me which was much needed and I said
" I don't know jiju how I'm gonna live without all of you ".

" Why are you worried. Are you going to any other planet. No na,  we all are just a call away from you and will come to meet you daily. But once you will go there you will forget all of us because you will not have time to think about us because of your husband " said with a teasing smile and I blushed at his words
"But I'm gonna call you daily and eat your brain I'll miss you all jiju." I said and again tears roll down from my cheeks.

We talked about all the preparations, functions and later jiju went away as he had lot of work.

I was just lost in my thoughts when my phone started ringing and it's non other than my soon-to-be- husband. I smiled at this thought and lifted the call
Aadarsh: Hello
Aarushi: Hi
Aadarsh: Kya kar rahi hon?
(What are you doing)
Aarushi: Kuch nahi... Aap?
(Nothing. What about you)
Aadarsh: Bas baitha tha aur tumhari yaad agayi tho call kar liya.
(Just sitting, i remembered you and called)
I blushed at his words
Aarushi: Hmm... Khana Kaya kya aapne?
(Hmm... Did you have your food)
Aadarsh: Haa abhi. Tumhe kaya kya?
(Yes just now. Did you eat?)
Aarushi: Haa aur sone bhi jaa rahi thi kal subha jaldi uthna hee
(Yes and I was going to sleep, should wake up early tomorrow)
Aadarsh: Achaa thike disturb Kiya kya Maine
(Okay. Did i disturb)
Aarushi: Nahi nahi...
(No no)
Aadarsh: Hm...

And we both drifted into a comfortable silence

Aarushi: Achaa phir thike byee... kal bahut kaam hein.
(Okay then byee. There is so much work tomorrow)
Aadarsh: Hm... thike bye. Take care my soon- to- be -wifey.
(Hm... Okay bye. Take care my soon to be wifey)
I blushed and said
Aarushi: Haa bye... Mr.Anand ji sojaye zayada der tak mat jage rahiya.
(Ha. Bye Mr Anand ji sleep early, don't be awake till late)
Aadarsh: Good night.
Aarushi: Good night.

I slept with the thought of leaving my family in three days.

Author's POV

Aarushi is sitting in middle of the garden of Rao's house with her hands and legs stretched. Two mehedi artist are doing their work on her hands.

She is getting bored as no one is near her. Nobody is giving her any attention, all are involved in their own works where as some where busy in talking among themselves and some applying mehendi.

"Masi" rushitha called Aarushi taking a seat beside her.
(Aunty)
"Wow bath butiful hai aapka yeh" she said pointing towards aarushi's mehendi.
(Wow bahut beautiful hai aapka yeh)
(Wow yours is so beautiful)
"Sirf yeh beautiful hai mai nahi hu beautiful." Aarushi asked with a pout.
(Only this is beautiful, am I not beautiful)

" You so much butiful" rushitha said and kissed her cheeks.
(You so much beautiful)

" You are also looking beautiful gudiya " Aarushi also kissed her cheeks.
" Tumhara mehendi nahi dikhaogi maasi ko." Aarushi said her.
(Won't you show your mehendi to aunt)
Rushitha showed her little hands. Aarushi smiled at her and said,
"Ohh yeh tho Mera mehendi se bhi zyada khubsurat hai"
(Ohh this is more beautiful than my mehendi)
Rushitha gave Aarushi a big grin hearing the compliment she got for her mehendi.
