Chapter-29 (Almost a kiss)

After taking Vinod clothes Aarushi and Aadarsh moved to Aarushi's room. This is the first time Aadarsh is seeing her room.

The room was with grey wall. One wall is full of Aarushi , her family and friends pictures. The other wall is filled with few paintings.

A bed on which there is a big teddy bear laying which is in the size of a human. Aadarsh smiled seeing that only one person can sleep in the place left. There is a table near one of the window and few books were placed on it along with a table light.

He took the clothes from her and she moved towards the wardrobe to take her clothes. He saw one of the rack filled with books.

"Yeh sab tumhara books hai?" He asked amazed by her book collection.
(Arey these all your books?)

"Ha Mera hi hai, aur bhi hai par uper shelf Mai hai yaha space nahi hai voh books lagane keliya" she said feeling sad for her books.
(Yes they are mine, I have more books but they are up in the shelf as there is no space here)

" Oh. Tumhne yeh sabh books pad liya kya" he asked her with a bit of excitement.
(Oh. Did you read all these books)

"Yes. Infact I read some books more than one time" she giggled.

"Nice. Toh tumhe books padna pasand hai." He asked looking at her books.
(Nice. So you liked reading books)

"Yes I love to read books" she said taking her clothes from the wardrobe.

"Aap yaha change karlo Mai dusre kamre mai change karlethi hu" she she said showing him the bathroom door and left.

Aadarsh POV

The room gives a good vibe. It feels like her memories from childhood to till now can be seen in the photo frames hanged on the wall. I think the paintings are also done by her. I remember her saying she also likes painting. She must be missing her room. She decorated it so well. It looks like a dream room.

And the books omg did she really read that many books. From what age might she start reading those books. Hmm maybe from 2 years. No I don't think so anyone can read that many books in 730 days. I think from 5 years. Did she read when she is 18 or still young or more.

"What are you thinking?" I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see Aarushi standing on her toes trying to see what I'm doing.

She lost her balance and fell on me. I catched her from her waist while she held my shoulder in a tight grip. I pulled her closer to me balancing her. This is the first time we are this close. Her front is touching mine and she looked up to see me. She has tied her hair in a bun and didn't wear any makeup. She looks more beautiful from near. Her brown eyes, button nose, chubby cheeks and that kissable pink lips. What flavour of lip balm will she apply? I think strawberry. Hm no it might be cherry.

Aadarsh what are you thinking idiot. Instead of thinking about her lips you are thinking about the flavour of the lip balm. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️. Sach mai gadha hu.

She is so short, she reaches only till my shoulder. If we want to kiss either i should bend down or she should stand on her toes. I leaned forward and joined our foreheads. She is not blinking her eyes and is lost looking into my eyes.
I placed my one hand on her cheek and started caressing it. They are really soft just like small baby's cheeks.
