Chapter-15 (Engagement)

Aadarsh POV

Finally from today Aarushi will be officially mine. I'm getting ready in my white designer kurtha for the engagement. The engagement is at 5 in evening and now it is 4. I need to reach the venue till 4:30. I'm running out of time as it took more time than i thought to complete the last moment meeting.

"Bhai..." Roshan shouted entering the room.
(Brother)

He is wearing a dark violet kurtha along with black pants. He looks handsome with his perfect body shape. He is 24 but still acts like a 4 year kid.

"Kya hai. Kyu chila rahe ho." I asked being irritated.
(What. Why are you shouting)

"Wah bhai bahut handsome lag rahe ho. Bhabhi flat hojayegi aapko dekh ke" he said taking the perfume spray from the dressing table which I placed it just now after applying.
(Wow brother you look handsome. Sister in law will be flat seeing you)

I gave a smirk to him and wore my shoes.
"Chal. Time nahi horaha hai." I said moving outside.
(Come. We are running out of the time)

"Ha chalo chalo" he said following me.
(Yes let's go)

Soon we reached the venue. All the other family members already reached. I and Roshan got late due to the last moment meeting so we said them to leave and we both will come.

"Agaya tum dono. Aadarsh yeh last warning hai. Agar agli baar esa last moment meeting lagaya tho mar kayega mujhse. Shaadi ke liye ek mahine se hi kaam karna chod dhe Varna esa last moment meeting hoga tho shaadi ke liye bhi late aayega tum." Ma scolded as soon as she saw us.
(You both came. Aadarsh this is your last warning. If next time you keep this last moment meeting then you will be beaten by me. You stop working before one month of your Marriage, what if you will again attend last moment meeting and come late for your marriage)

"Ma. Shaadi ke ek mahine pehlese kaam chod dhu yeh nahi ho saktha Ma. Agar aap chahe tho shaadi ke baad ek mahina kaam nahi karunga." I said smiling at her.
(Mom. I can't stop working before one month of marriage. If you want i will stop working for one month after marriage)

" Kyu bhai tab bhabhi ayegi isliye na. Aha." Roshan teased.
(Why brother, because sister in law will be come. Hm hm.)

I rolled my eyes at him.
" Jitna Tease karnahe karlo. Jab tumhari shaadi hogi tab mai tumhse bhi jyada Tease karunga."
(Tease how much you want now. When you get married I'll tease you more than you are teasing me now.)

"Acha tike tum dono baadh Mein ladlena ab chalo muhurat ka samay ho raha hai." Chachi said moving towards the stage for some arrangements.
(Okay you two fight afterwards for now let's go)

I got on the stage and did Ganesh puja. After the puja I got down the stage as Aarushi has to perform the puja. But where is she. I didn't see her from the time I came.

I heard the sound of bangles and anklets and I turned immediately to see Aarushi in her white designer lehenga with minimal makeup and diamond earrings and chokar. She is looking more beautiful today. I can see she is feeling nervous because of everyone eyes on her. She climbed the stage and did the puja.

"Bhai..." I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned towards the person.
(Brother)

"Kabse bula rahe the hum Saab aapko." Aadhya said with a teasing smile.
(We all are calling you from that time)
