On the day of Allison's 17th Birthday she finished getting ready as Kate walked into her room.

"Hey, listen

"Hey, listen... I couldn't wait, so I'm giving you your birthday present early." Kate said, handing over a box to her, and Allison opened it to find the show's necklace, causing her to smile. After turning over Kate's body, I really should ask Stilinski for this back...

"I love it!" Allison said with a bright smile as she gave Kate a quickly hug before pulling away and taking it out of its box to put it on.

"It's a family heirloom. And, you know me-- I hate and loathe all sentimental crap-- but that? Well, look at the symbol in the middle of the pendant. See that?" She asked and Allison nodded.

"Yeah..."

"You ever wanna learn a little something about your family? Look it up." Kate said and Allison looked at her.

"You're gonna make me work for it?"

"Some mysteries... are worth the effort." Kate said and Allison laughed slightly.

"Thanks." She said and Kate nodded.

"Bye!" Kate said before leaving the room as Allison put around her neck, before grabbing her bag and leaving.

When she opened her locker Allison smiled as Balloons popped out. She grabbed the card from inside, it was signed by Lydia making her smile more.

"Is today your birthday?" She heard and turned to see Stiles (surprisingly but happily).

"Yes. I don't know how Lydia found out though, I didn't even tell her." She said with a thoughtful frown.

"Why wouldn't you tell me?" He asked her, also frowning.

"Because... I'm seventeen..." She said with a slight grimace.

"You're seventeen?" He asked in surprise.

"That's the reaction I'm trying to avoid." She sighed, turning and grabbing the Balloons before stuffing them back into her locker.

"Why? I mean, I-I totally get it. Uh, you had to repeat a year because of all the moving around, right?" He asked her and she smiled before kissing him. "...What was that for?" He asked, confused.

"For literally being the first person to ever make the correct assumption. Everybody's always like, "What, did you get held back?" "Did you ride the short bus?" Uh, "Did you have a baby?"" She listed off, getting an appalled look in return.

"That's what you hear on your birthday?"

"Oh, yeah. All day long." She said, nodding.

"Then... what if we got out of here?" He asked her and she looked at him, amused.
