Allison sat on her bed after she got home from the dance, watching as Victoria grabbed some of her stuff to pack.

"I don't know how long you'll be

"I don't know how long you'll be. You want me to pick out anything specific? ...Sweetheart?" She asked, turning around when Allison didn't answer.

"What? Oh, I'll just go through it when you're done." Allison said, shaking her head.

"All right. I'll grab some things myself." The woman said, grabbing a few things and putting them in the bag.

Allison felt her phone vibrate in her pocket and sighed, not taking it out. She knew if she did her mother would take it.

"What are you going to do to Scott?" Allison asked the older woman.

"That depends. We have a sort of moral code we follow, especially when they're that young."

"Scott didn't kill anybody. He wouldn't--" She started only to be cut off.

"This is all part of a longer conversation."

"Most of which I already know about thanks to Kate." Allison told the woman who rolled her eyes.

"What you know doesn't matter. What you need is to stay quiet. You're catching a glimpse of something you are not quite ready to see, and there are others outside of this family who are not ready for you to see it. Staying quiet is the best protection. Do you understand?" The woman asked and Allison sighed.

"I understand." She said and her mother nodded and turned around, but Allison wasn't done. "I understand that's what you want me to do, not because I'm not ready, but because you don't want me to be. But that doesn't mean it's right. None of this is right. And I'm not going to sit here and pretend like it is." Allison said before standing up, grabbing Stiles's hoodie that he left there one day while they studied and walked out of her room.

She went straight to the car, ignoring everyone before she sat down and pulled out her phone, reading the test Jackson sent about Lydia before sighing.

"You okay?" Kate asked her.

"Not even close." She told the woman. "Lydia's in the hospital. She was attacked."

"By the Alpha no doubt. Come on, let's go see her." Kate said before putting the car in drive and taking off.

When they got to the right floor, Allison slowly walked over to the window and looked inside. She knew this had to happen for a lot of this to come. Especially when La Bete showed up in a couple years (which she hoped she was still alive to see), but it still sucked to see it.

"You getting it now? It's what they do, and they can't help it." Kate told her and Allison sighed.

"All of them?"

"Yes, Allison. Even Scott." The woman told her and Allison nodded, her face going blank as she turned around and headed for the car.

She grabbed a bag of clothes and went into one of the bathrooms to get changed.
