Author's POV.

Alaya and Nathan just walked out of the movies. It was such a new adventure for Nathan. He had never really been interested in these outings and all since young as he was a book worm but now he felt like he was reliving life again with Alaya.

It was about to two weeks that they became official and he noticed how comfortable she got with him in this time.

Chapter 30: Movie date.

He didn't feel any age barrier with her although he's five years older than her.

"Nathan?" She called him.

"Hmm?" He replied.

"The movie was good right?" She asked. He looked at her and nodded.

She grinned widely.

"You know my friend Sophia?" She asked.

He nodded in no.

"Oh. I forgot. I never told you about her." She said and slapped her forehead making him smile warmly.

"Whatever...she is the co-producer for this movie." She continued with a proud smile.

Nathan raised an eyebrow.

"Really?" He asked, not really interested in the producer thingy neither the movie but in her; She looks so beautiful and enchanting whenever she speaks, he can't help but crave for more.

"Umm." She nodded in positive.

"How did you both become friends?" Nathan asked while slowly sneaking her arm around her. She was oblivious to the fact that he was slowly pulling her towards him.

They weren't standing, they were walking towards the parking lot and everybody was looking at them.

"I don't remember exactly how, but...she was the only friend i remember having in middle school and from then on, we were inseparable.'' Alaya replied.

"Oh.'' Nathan exclaimed to which she hummed.

"What about you? How did you meet Sir Benjamin?" She asked.

He looked at her weirdly.

"Don't call him sir Infront of me. It's weird." He spoke.

"What's weird in this? I even used to call you sir before you know, you confessed." She said.

He halted on his steps making her stop as well but Alaya being Alaya, stumbled, her feet tangling together.

Nathan caught her by the elbow, steadying her.

"Whoa, careful there," he said, his voice softening.

Alaya's cheeks flushed as she looked up at him. "Yeah, sorry...I'm just...really clumsy sometimes," she admitted, her words stumbling out in a rush.

Nathan's gaze lingered on hers, his expression softening. "It's okay," he said finally. "I like it."

Alaya's eyes widened in surprise, but then she looked away, her face still flushed.

"So, um, how did you meet Benjamin?" she asked, her words tumbling out in a rush.

Nathan's expression turned guarded, his eyes clouding over. "It's a long story," he said gruffly.

Alaya's face fell, but she didn't give up. "I-I just want to know you better," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Nathan's gaze lingered on hers, his expression softening. "Maybe someday," he said finally. "But not now, okay?" He patted her cheeks.
