Ache In The Dead Heart

Scott's POV:
I settled down in bed. Everything that happenned today was going on in my head. Why did I ever ask her to cook for me. The moment I had I had lost my mate. I had lost her.

My dead heart ached inside my chest, when she screamed "you are a bloodsucker. A leach, a parasite who lives by drinking others blood. Don't touch me." Why did this always happen to me.

The moment I had touched her for the first time, I knew she was my mate. I couldn't let her get killed by my brother, so I asked him to let her go.

But, what if she tries to tell someone. I will have to kill her. A tear slipped down my eyes. I will not let myself fall for her, I convimced myself. Noway was I going to fall for a human.

My eyes opened as sunlight gushed in through my window. I drew the curtains closer untill it was totally dark.

I got ready for the college, and drove away from my house. A few blocks away was her house. I could just pick her up and drop her to college. Only if everything was normal between us.

I reached the college. Went to the locker room. Grabbed a t-shirt and changed into it. Took out a pair of sport shoes and put them on. It was my soccer practice session. Atleast I could get all my frustration out in the field.

I walked into the field. Looking at all the humans in the audiences. Hooting and cheering. Some other girls were playing tennis..I couldn't help but stare at kate. She was so good at the game. My eyes scanned the whole length of her body.

Damn, she looked so hot in the tight pink top and purple shorts.
Her brown blondes done at the back of her head into a ponytail.

Suddenly I realised, she was staring back at me. Not with admiration. Her eyes were emoitionless, unlike her thoughts.

'Just stop thinking of her. It will be for her own good, and even the for the good of your people, your kingdom.' A voice from inside my head spoke. I tried to keep my focus on my tasks, even when she was around. I did this the whole day. Iana was quite a help, the girl from library. Where kate had spotted me, maybe for the first time.
