THIRD PERSON'S POV
"A-aiah?"
Mikha stuttered as she muttered the name of the raging feline. Nagplano si aiah na i surprise yung dalawa but narinig niya itong naguusap ng about sa serious stuff. But she was the one who got surprised.
"K-kanina ka paba diyan aiah?" Mikha asked once again. Halata naman sa boses niya yung takot. She held tightly sa counter para masuportahan yung tuhod niya na nawawalan na ng gana. She tried to force out a smile, like she usually do, try na wag ipahalata na hindi siya kinakabahan.
"Long enough to hear everything" Aiah said with a low, cold voice.
"Tell me, na nagsisinungaling ka lang" Aiah whispered but loud enough for them to hear.
"Aia-"
"Shut up, stacey" Aiah said making the eyes of stacey grew wide. Wala na ibang ginawa si stacey kundi tumahimik nalang pero gustong gusto niya idefend si mikha kaso alam niyang pag nakisali siya magiging worst lang.
"Now, tell me what i heard was all a joke" Aiah lifted up her head and looked at mikha. Tears are streaming down from her raging eyes that made mikha to look away. Yung sakit na raramdaman niya is getting more stronger.
"Tell me mikha!" Aiah shouted. Frustration, anger, pain that's what aiah's tone show. Mikha lowered her head and gritted her teeth while clenching both of her hands sa loob ng pocket niya. Lumabas na din ang luha sa mga mata niya.
"I'm sorry" Mikha said softly. Aiah scoffed and wiped up her tears.
"Unbelievable" Sabi ni aiah bago mag walk out sa bahay ni mikha.
Narinig naman ni mikha ang footsteps kaya napatingin siya and she saw aiah walking away na kaya hinabol na niya to at iniwan si stacey mag isa sa kitchen well si stacey naman nag focus sa pasta na bigay ni mikha.
"Aiah wait!" Mikha shouted and held aiah's wrist, para mapigilan niyang umalis ito.
Agad naman tinanggal ni aiah yung pag kakahawak ni mikha sa kanya and which made mikha dumbfounded.
"Bakit mikha? Bakit sa lahat ng tao? Bakit kailangan mo na maging one of them ha?" Aiah said, nakatalikod parin siya kay mikha. Hindi siya willing na humarap pa kay mikha kasi she feel betrayed by her own best friend.
"I-I tried to fight it maniwala ka. but, every time na i try, my feelings for you grew deeper. Until one day, pag kagising ko I realized that I love you more than friends. That im fucking in love with my own best friend."
"Since when?"
"Since that day na full of thunders. yung time na nakita kitang umiiyak"
"So you're hiding your true identity from me all this time ha?"Aiah said and turned around to face mikha. Her face is a mess, tuloy tuloy parin ang pag tulo ng luha niya. Hindi na alam ni mikha kung ano pa ang sasabihin niya.
"You fucking betrayed me! Nagtiwala ako sayo! Alam mo naman kung gaano I hate this kind of people! Bakit kailangan mo maging isa sa kanila? Kaya nga sinabi ko sayo na wag na wag ka sumasama kila chie."
"Chie has nothing to do with this! I told you ang papaging ganito is not kind of disease! I'm gay and there's nothing I can do about it. This is the real me aiah"
"You know I can't accept this"
"Im not asking for your love aiah. But please can you accept me for who I am? Aiah, I m-maybe gay, but i'm still your best friend. I can't lose you kinn"
"It's too late you already did" Aiah said and turned around.
Aalis na sana si aiah and nakita ni mikha yun agad niyang niyakap si aiah from behind.
Nagulat si aiah for a bit but she realized what's happening. Kaya agad niyang tinatanggal yung pagkakayakap sa kanya ni mikha.
"Let me go!" Aiah said as she struggled to move mikha's arm.
"No. Kapag pinakawalan kita, I'll lose you forever!" Mikha said in a cracking voice.
"I said, Let me go!" Aiah said and use all her strength to push mikha away. Na out of balance naman si mikha kaya natumba ito.
"Aiah, please" Mikha begged for the last time.
"You are a fucking filthy gay. I hate you! No, Scratch that, I despise you!" Aiah said those hurtful words her mouth that made mikha froze in her spot. Hindi niya ma imagine na sasabihin niya lahat ng yon. Alam ni mikha na galit lang si aiah pero hindi nita inexpect na sasabihin niya yon.
"Dapat pala i trusted my instincts at the first place. Dapat hindi ko hinayaan ang sarili ko na to be closed to someone like you!" Aiah said as she try to remove something on her neck.
"N-no..." Mikha said softly nung makita niya yung ginagawa ni aiah.
"I wish i never met you!"
Ang mga huling sinabi ni aiah kay mikha bago ibato sa kanya yung necklace papunta sa kanya. Aiah looked at pitiful state of her best friend for the last time and tuluyan ng umalis.
Gusto ni mikha na tumayo at habulin ulit si aiah. But she doesn't have any strength left. Napatingin naman si mikha sa necklace na tinapon ni aiah, With a trembling hands dahan dahan niyang kinuha to. kinagat ni mikha ang labi niya as she could hanggang makalasa siya ng dugo para lang mapigilan niya ang iyak niya.
"Mikha?" Stacey called mikha. Naririnig niya ang lahat from inside and nung nalaman niya na umalis na si aiah agad naman pumunta si stacey kay mikha. She's worried hindi niya ma imagine kung anong sakit ang nararamdam ni mikha ngayon.
Mikha lifted her head up and look at her cousin. Stacey's eyes soften when she saw mikha's messy face.
"S-staceyyy" Mikha said in a cracking voice na nakapag patakbo sa kanya papunta kay mikha as she hug her.
Stacey warm arms made mikha burst out of tears. Yumakap naman pabalik si mikha and cried all the pain out from her heart. Sobrang sakit na ng nararamdaman ni mikha hindi niya alam kung kakayanin pa niya. Stacey caressed her back, hearing her cousin's screams in agony, Nagstart na tumulo ang luha ni stacey kasi this is the first time that she saw mikha cry this much.
