THIRD PERSON'S POV
May tumunog nanaman sa kusina kaya napahinto si Aiah sa paglalakad. She flinched in surprise when she heard that mysterious sound once again. Her curiosity about who would be the reason of those sound grew even more.
Dahan dahan itinuloy ni Aiah ang paglalakad niya, natatakot siya na baka magulat niya yung taong nasa loob. Her heart was pounding loudly that her own ears can even hear every bit of it. Meron siyang feeling na yung taong nasa loob ay yung babaeng hinahanap niya matagal na.
"Damn. Sabi ko sayo kath na ilagay mo yung mga pots sa ibabaw ng countertop" The mystery person said.
She quickly covered her mouth to prevent a loud gasp to escape. She was facing the person's back so she wasn't sure kung tama ba ang nasa isip niya. But judging sa aura niya at especially by her voice, Nakakasigurado si Aiah sa iniisip niya.
The mystery person was wearing black hoodie, yung hood ng jacket ay natatakpan ang buong ulo nito kaya nahirapan si Aiah na icheck yung mukha nito. She was stacking the pots carefully and nilagay niya ito sa counter top na nasa tabi niya.
Aiah's eyes widened when the girl slowly turned a bit as her both hands on her hips and let out a sigh of relief. Nakaramdam naman si Aiah na nagdodoble na ang tibok ng puso niya bago siya makapag salita, pero she was interrupted by Stacey.
"Mikhaela?!" Stacey called in a high pitch. Walang sign ng hestitation at her voice.
Sa sigaw ni stacey ang naka agaw ng atensyon sa mystery person. She turned around, facing where the voice came from. Yung hood ay nakatakip parin sa mga mata nito, only showing her lips that is now wearing a mischievous smirk.
"Hoy!? Ikaw ba talaga yan chicken?" Colet's voice showed a little bit of threat pero yung mystery person ay hindi gumalaw sa kinakatayuan niya at dahan dahan tinanggal yung hood niya which making Aiah froze.
"Ako nga, Bakit na miss niyo ba ako?" Mikha said confidently. Her smirk is now turned into a grin pero nawala iyon nung napatingin siya kay Stacey.
"Anong nangyari sa buhok mo?!" Stacey and Mikha said at the same time. They're pointing at each other and their mouth was open, kitang kita kung gaano sila nagulat.
"Sinabi ko naman sayo miks na gagawin ko din red ang hair ko kasi gusto ko na magkamukha tayo kasi nga were twins" Stacey said and walk fast papunta kay mikha. "Bakit mo pinabawasan yung hair mo? Bakit mo pinalitan ng kulay ang buhok mo?" Stacey asked while repeatedly hitting Mikha's arms.
"Tumigil ka nga! Will you?" Mikha said.
"Why?!" Stacey said, Both of her hands are on her hips while glaring at Mikha.
"New look?" Mikha said while smiling awkwardly. She grew pretty tired of her long red hair that reminds her of some hurtful memories that she wants to bury forever. So, Nagdecide si Mikha na pabawasan ang buhok niya at pakulayan niya ito ng black. She pick it up because akala niya cool to.
"You look good in Red" Mikha said, trying to lighten up the tension. It was very effective since napangiti niya si Stacey.
"I know right pero babalik ko to sa brown" Stacey said and do a hairflip which made them both giggle. Agad naman niyakap ni Stacey si Mikha. "Ang ayos din sayo ng new look mo pero red's suits you more!" She whispered.
"I miss you staks!" Mikha said and hug her tightly. Hearing those words made Stacey to pull away in an instant.
"I miss you too, pero madami kang kailangan iexplain sa akin." Stacey warned her. Bago pa mag salita si Mikha for an apology agad naman nagsisuguran ang girls at nakijoin sa yakapan nila.
Mikha's eyes drifted towards a certain person who is still in frozen in her spot and habang pinapanood sila nito.
"Hey, Aiah. Gusto mo bang makisali sa amin?" Mikha said casually.
Aiah furrowed her eyebrows. Hearing Mikha ask her in that manner nag sent sa kanya napaka raming tanong throughout her mind. Napatingin naman si Aiah sa mga mata ni Mikha. it wasn't cold but still, merong something hidden in those brown orbs of her.
"Aiah?" Mikha called once again. Pupunta na sana si Aiah sa kanila nang biglang dumating yung cheerful girl.
"Hinahanap kita kanina pa sa taas! Hindi ko alam na nandito ka na" Kath said.
"I got bored, Kaya nagstart na akong mag unpack na ibang boxes." Mikha answered.
"Girlfriend mo ba yan Mikha?" Jhoanna asked innocently not minding si aiah na ngayon nagdadasal silently sa lahat ng santong kilala niya.
"Hindi. Apo siya ng isa sa mga kaibigan ni lolo. Nagpatulong ako sa kanya since she lives around the corner." Mikha said. "Kath, hear are my friends. Stacey my cousin, Jhoanna, Colet, Gwen, Sheena, Maloi and Aiah" She added. The girls exchange greetings towards each other.
"I think mauna na ako by now. Since yung mga taong hinihintay mo kahapon pa nandito na" Kath said but the truth is, Nabobothered siya sa kung paano siya tignan ni Aiah.
"Oh, I'll walk you home na" Mikha said and taps Colet's butt slightly asking her na kumalas na din sa pagkakayakap.
Kath bid good bye to them and Aiah ay tinigtignan parin si Kath ng deadly glare until she disappeared at the front door. Nagtinginan naman ang girls kasi nakita nila kung paano mag act si Aiah ngayon. They decided to tease Aiah for a bit.
"Sa tingin niyo ba girls na kaibigan lang talaga ni Mikha yon?" Sheena pretends to ask them innocently.
"Hindi ko din alam kasi tignan mo naman tong nakita ko sa instagram" Nagpakita naman si Maloi ng picture na magkasama si Kath at si Mikha sa Instagram ni Kath that send Aiah into burning anger.
Seeing an angry Aiah made them instantly regret what they did. They took a step back every time na naglalakad si Aiah papalapit sa kanila. The eyebrows of Aiah furrowed and her fist are clenched tightly. Tina-try naman pakalmahin ni Stacey si Aiah na sinasabi na nagbibiro lang sila pero hindi ito effective. Luckily, Nakabalik na si Mikha making them breath in relief.
