PART 70

MIKHA'S POV

"Curse that silly girl" I mumbled.

Hindi parin ako makapaniwala na naloko ako ni Aiah. She clearly told me na sasabihin niya sa akin yung name kapag I buy her some ice cream. I bought her like three cups of ice cream yesterday pero ang natanggap ko lang is "Thank you". I try to talk to her about the deal pero she acted na hindi niya alam yon.

"I shouldn't have bought her that ice cream" I said to myself as I stomped my way towards the library. I don't feel like going to classes today and besides yung prof ko today seems like hindi alam kung ano yung tinuturo niya. So it's much better to ditch classes than to stay there for hours and makinig sa talambuhay niya which clearly has nothing to do with the subject.

Ang library ang pinaka tahimik na lugar dito sa university kaya perfect spot to sa akin para makapag take ng nap. Hindi naman ako mahilig magbasa ng book unless I need to.

I pushed the library door opened and the relaxing aura instantly came in. I breathed deeply, Inhaling the scent ng new and old na books that lingers throughout the room.

Nagpunta naman ako sa pinaka rightmost corner ng library which is the most secluded place here. Wala gaanong student ang pumupunta dito kaya kung gusto mo umiglip this would be the best spot. Walang makakaistorbo sayo and malayo ka pa sa librarian's sight who is always scolding those students na pumupunta lang dito para matulog.

But to my surprise, meron nang nakapwesto sa spot ko. At hindi lang to basta student, it was that cute girl again!

Lucky.

A wide smile crept upon my face. I looked around the room, trying to spot Aiah, Baka kasi biglang magpakita at sirain ang plano ko. I can't let that happen once again.

Dahan dahan akong naglakad papunta sa pwesto kung nasaan ang cute girl. I did all my best not to scare her pero still nagulat pa rin siya nung hinila ko yunh upuan sa harap niya.

"Sorry. Hindi ko naman sinasadyang takutin ka" I said and smile apologetically. I took a sit, and she put down the book that she's reading on the table.

"It's fine lang. Im just that type of person who can easily get startled." She smiled at me. A smile that sent a giddy feeling right down at my stomach.

"Kasama mo ba si Aiah?" I asked to be sure. Who knows, that girl might be lurking around somewhere, naghihintay ng perfect timing.

"Bakit ako tinatanong mo niyan? She's your girlfriend, ikaw dapat ang nakakaalam kung nasaan siya ngayon" She said which taken me aback.

"What girlfriend? You mean Aiah ba?"

"Yes. Aren't you and Aiah a thing? Or ako lang tong nagiisip na you guys are together?"

I chuckled at the thought of Aiah being my girlfriend.

"No, we're only friends. Best friends rather. Aiah is straight so there is no reason na me and her is a thing" I said.

"Straight? really lang huh?" She said with a sly smirk. What was that smirk about?

"Anyway, I'm Mikha" I confidently introduced myself and reached out my hand.

"Nice meeting you Mikha, I'm Criza" She replied with a bright smile and held my hand for a shake. Damn, yung kamay niya is so soft that it makes me want not to let go. Pwede ko ba tong hawakan forever?

"Bakit ka nga pala nandito? You and Aiah have the same class right? Did you ditch too?"

"We don't have the same schedule every Wednesday. Tapos na ang classes ko. Ano ibig sabihin mo sa "Too"? You ditched class?"

I scratched my nape and said, "Yes I did"

"Ooh. Such a trouble maker." Criza said.

"It's better to ditch class kesa umupo ka don for hours makinig about sa mga walang kwentang storya ng professor" I said which made her burst out in laughter. Agad naman tinakpan niya ang bibig niya nung napansin niyang nakatingin na sa kanya yung mga students na nandon who are giving us some deadly glares.

I leaned forward and whispered, "Nagsasabi ako ng totoo" Criza hit my arm playfully and called me silly while flashing her bright smile. I really like it when she's smiling like that.

"Anyways, is this where you always go after class?" I asked.

"Yup. Sa pagbabasa ng books nawawala ang stress ko" Criza answered.

"Want to go somewhere new?"

Criza squinted her eyes. "Are you asking me out on a date ba Mikha?" She asked in a playful manner.

I pursed my lips together bago pa mag salita. "If that's what it looks like, then yes. I'm asking you out"

"At saan mo naman ako dadahlin?"

"There's a cafe around. The ambiance there is perfect for reading"

"Ohh A coffee date ba?"

"Yep, So? Gusto mo ba sumama sa akin? My treat, don't worry"

"Sino ba makakatanggi sa libreng coffee"

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Hindi masabi ni Mikha kung gaano siya kasaya ngayon. Finally, Alam na niya yung pangalan and making her yes to a date is a bonus din.

She pushed the door for Criza which made Criza blushed a little. Criza likes how Mikha is being caring to her. She's not dense, Alam ni criza na may nararamdaman si Mikha for her and her feelings to Mikha is mutual.

Actually, she had her eyes on Mikha since the first time that they bumped each other. Nahihiya lang talaga siya mag approach and even Aiah won't tell her, she can see the way how Aiah look at Mikha.

Gusto i-reject ni Criza si Mikha who asked her out but seeing how excited she is made Criza to felt guilty. Ayaw naman niyang mawala ang ngiti ni Mikha so she decided to say Yes.

Nag order naman si Mikha ng two cups of cappuccino. One for her, and one for Criza. Mikha get a chance to get to know Criza much better. Hindi na niya naalala na may nakalimutan siya or lets just say na someone.
