Sun 3rd person—alternate perspective of "A meanie" chapter
Sun felt very VERY jittery today, which was a rare occurrence considering he was a robot— and a bad thing because his internal computer was probably spazzing. But he couldn't blame it, considering the overwhelming 29 kids today. A record number this summer.
Immediately, he knew to figure out the problem children (Sun would never call them that, but Moon did, and it was true). Immediately, he let the Sharp family Arden, Arsen, and Aron pass, knowing they weren't too much of an issue. He also let 11 other regulars past— taking note of Brennan in case the boy needed help later. In his head, he was notified that 15 of the kids came from the same party, and 3 were teenagers. Each kid from that specific party had a wristband to round them up later. Party member kids were USUALLY easy to handle since they roamed in groups. Today didn't seem like one of those days, because immediately, Sun saw issues.
One of the teens, a girl probably 13 years of age, was pushing around a younger girl. They looked similar, so Sun assumed they were siblings."Ugh, leave us!"
"But I want to stay with you guys!" The younger one pointed at the 3 teens.
"No! We don't want to stick around stupid babies like you. So 'F' off Ash," The other teens laughed like hyenas.
Sun approached, patting the shoulder of Ash, "Hello there friend! What seems to be the problem, hm?"
She whined, staring at the teens who were already walking away, "I want to stay with them, but they're meanies!"
"Well why would you want to stay with them if you know they're meanies?"
Ash shrugged, "She's my sister, mom said that she has to keep me company— she also does cool older kid stuff."
Sun shook his head at the girl, "Now now, there are plenty of kids here who are your age and would be glad to keep you company!""But I'm not like them, I'm better! I like the older kids!" She said, puffing out her chest pridefully. The animatronic, as loving as he was, did not like arrogant children. This was one of them.
"I'm sure there's someone here for you to play with..." he scanned the area, his eyes landing on his favorites. Nova and Arsen sat on the floor, chatting, trying to figure out what to do. They could figure out what to do... with Ash! "There— those two kids. They're nice, I'm sure they'll get along with you."
She frowned, obviously hoping Sun would instead force her sister's hand, "I'll be friendly, but only if you introduce me."
Sun reluctantly did so, walking her over to the duo. After introduction, he could tell Nova was apprehensive about the addition, showing her opinion in her face. Sun didn't mean to pawn off a problem to the girl, but it is what it is. At least Arsen was more welcoming. A second later, Sun sees a kid at the crafting table, holding a glob of clay up to their open mouth. Two more kids around him, cheering it on."HEY KIDS— NONONONO DON'T EAT THAT CLAY!!" Sun basically dove forward, grabbing it out of their hands. They protested, saying that it was only a little and the clay is non toxic, "No buts!!! This isn't food, it's CLAY. Just wait till snacktime— wait why were you even trying to— ughhh..."
"I was curious."
"It was a dare."
"I've eaten it before and it tastes good," the three answered in unison.Sun felt speechless and just told them not to do it again. Though, he wasn't sure it got through to their heads considering how they eyed the other art supplies. After placing clay on a higher shelf before doing a round around the daycare, he saw two boys just laying on the ground. Sprawled out entirely and staring at the ceiling.
In solidarity he laid on the floor with the same position, "Anything interesting up there, gentlemen?"
One boy, a dramatic regular named Dylan, sighed, "Nope."
