.Sunoo could have stopped, he wanted to stop himself from looking for things on his own, he wanted to wait for his boyfriend to come back home and ask him questions by himself, that— why?

Why did Heeseung do that?

Why did he held Sunoo's parents hostage?

Why did he lied to Sunoo about his parents going on a trip?

Why did he needed to do that. After all, Heeseung had already succeeded in getting Sunoo exactly where he wanted him, by his side. What more could he possibly hope to gain through these underhanded tactics?

Sunoo's mind raced with storms as he tried to make sense of it all. Had Heeseung's desire for control and possession become so all-consuming that he was willing to resort to such cruel behaviour?

Or was there some other, more sinister motive at play that Sunoo was missing? The uncertainty and lack of answers only heightened Sunoo's distress.

I ran away from the mansion again.

I left him, once again. I probably shouldn't have done that.

Sunoo stepped out of his friend's car and immediately turned to face them, his expression were calm despite the storm inside his head. "You all should go home. I'll stay here tonight." he said evenly, masking the unease bubbling beneath his surface.

He hadn't explained his friend why he suddenly wanted to return to his parents' house, they all had been enjoying a movie when Sunoo abruptly announced that he wants to visit home, claiming infront of his friends that he missed this place.

Now, that he is standing in front of his home, Sunoo avoided his friend's questioning eyes. "We can stay with you and continue our night out here." Niki suggested, sensing the unspoken anxiety behind Sunoo's calm facade.

"I want to be alone." Sunoo insisted, though his voice wavered slightly.
"Besides, Hee-Heeseung will pick me up." the way he stuttered over his boyfriend's name betrayed a fear he couldn't quite hide. Did he really want to see Heeseung right now?

"Sunoo-ya, is there something else going on? Let us stay with you." Jake who still wasn't convinced, moved to open the car door but Sunoo's sudden panicked and stopped him.

"No, hyung. Don't worry, please. I needed something from here, and I told you, Heeseung will be here soon." Sunoo said, his voice firming as he tried to maintain his composure.

The effort to appear collected was almost evident and somehow, it worked. His friends hesitated but eventually relented, driving away and leaving Sunoo to face whatever he needed to do alone, the truth he needed to find himself.

The messages that he got back in the mansion, they weren't from the man who Sunoo had told to look for Heeseung's whereabouts.

No, these text were from the same unknown number that had been tormenting him for months. Each message insisted that Heeseung wasn't faithful, that he was deceiving Sunoo.

Sunoo had ignored those messages for as long as he could, pushing aside the nagging doubt in his mind. But today, something broke the thread of his patience.

Until he got the evidence, the latest text had come with a series of photos, his fingers had trembled as he opened them and what he saw next made his blood run cold.

His parents were bounded, their eyes covered with black fabric, their hands cuffed. They were surrounded by men wearing the same special Agent uniforms that his father once wore for high stakes missions, the uniforms of Lee’s Agents & Co.,—Heeseung’s company.

And now, his father was being held hostage by the very organization and people he once worked with. Is it really be true? Is Heeseung behind this? Sunoo's heart pounded in his chest as he clung to a shred of hope.
