Chapter 19: Navigating the tides

Rosé and I sat next to each other on the plane on the way to the next destination on the tour. Before getting on the plane, I didn't look at Yoongi anymore, and it seemed that he had fallen asleep on the recliner before we boarded. I decided to freeze my thoughts and think about it when we reached our next destination.

The steady hum of engines and the quiet conversation of other passengers fill the background soundscape. I turned to Rosé with a worried expression. I knew I said I wasn't thinking about it, but I couldn't help it, and we had a couple of hours of flight ahead. How could I keep quiet?

"Rosé, I've been thinking about how I acted with Yoongi. I was so stressed about everything that I took it out on him. I know it hurt him, even if he wouldn't admit it. How can I make up for it?"

Rosé thankfully nodded in understanding and turned to look at me. She thinks for a moment before answering. I was sure that she was tired of talking about this.

"First of all, don't be too hard on yourself. We all make mistakes, especially when we're stressed. I'm sure Yoongi knows that. But if you want to make it up, why don't you start by being honest with him about how you feel."

I let out a deep sigh. I haven't thought or done anything else. Even Yoongi might be tired of listening to me talk about feelings and how we should proceed. But Rosé is right.

"You're right. I should tell him how sorry I was and why I was so nervous. But I'd also like to do something special for him, something to show how much I care."

Rosé smiles and thinks for a moment. "Yoongi loves music and creativity. Maybe you could give him a surprise related to that? Don't you usually give an opinion on his latest songs? Why don't you do a really in-depth analysis now? I'm sure he'd appreciate it."

I nodded and smiled a little. "That's a good idea. He just did a small part of a new song I could give my opinion on."

Rosé smiles widely. "That sounds perfect. I'm sure Yoongi appreciates you putting in the effort for him. And remember, the most important thing is to be honest and open about your feelings."

I nodded, feeling a little lightheaded. I now know how to fix things with Yoongi and show him how much I care. "Thank you, Rosé. I know what to do now. I hope she understands and forgives."

"I'm sure he'll understand. Yoongi cares about you a lot. Everything will be alright."

I smiled and looked out the window. Maybe this will work out.

The bus stopped in front of the hotel. The whole group was exhausted after the long journey, but their day was far from over. There was a busy atmosphere in the hotel lobby as the staff tried to organize their rooms and take care of last-minute preparations.

"Should we go straight to the venue?" I asked, looking around.

Rosé nodded tiredly, but her mind was full of irritation. She had been stressed and tired the entire trip, and now she felt the pressure building up more and more. I had it myself, too. In any case, we were going to prepare the place. We wouldn't be able to get out of it. Now, we were two hours behind schedule due to problems after landing.

Fortunately, the gig wouldn't be today, but we have to take care of at least something so we don't continue to be behind schedule. It was already quite late, but we had no choice.

Yoongi walked beside me suddenly. ''Y/n can we-''

''I don't have time now,'' I said.

''Okay, sure, but there's no need to get angry,'' Yoongi snorted.
