"Giyu, It's strange of you to come at a time like this but what would you like?" Ubuyashiki Kagaya asked.
"Oyakata-sama, there is something I would like to speak to you about." Giyu spoke in a formal tone."
"Very well then."
As the light of a full moon peaked through the clouds, the water Hashira entered the Estate. It was unusual timing to say the least for him to have a meeting at night.
Giyu sat down with the master, for some reason the master stood up and walked to another room, He came back with a cup.
"Oyakata-sama, you must not need to." Giyu tried to intervene but Kagaya insisted that he have tea and Giyu respected his decision. Unfournatantly however while Kagaya was pouring the tea, the pot slipped from his hand due to the lack of grip strength and spilled all over the floor and Giyu.
"Giyu I must apologize." The master quickly said.
"There is no need Oyakata-sama, but why did you not have Amane-sama bring the tea if you wanted to give me it this much?" Giyu prodded.
"I wouldn't want to disturb her sleep Giyu, I also wouldn't want to rely on her for every little task I have to do. I may be sick but I can manage well enough." Kagaya answered the question.
"Well anyways, what would you like to discuss? After all that is why you came here correct?"
"Well yes Oyakata-sama, I shall present you my case..."
"About one year ago, I was on a mission to head to Mount Kumotori, a demon had killed a family and there were 2 survivors, a young boy and his sister who is called Nezuko by her brother, Nezuko had turned into a demon and attacked me."
The master was visibly intrigued and was wondering what happened next.
"Continue."
"She was incredibly powerful for a demon who had just been turned," Giyu knew he had to be careful with what he was going to say next.
Giyu's pov
I do not want to hide the fact I spared a demon but somehow I feel like it is necessary to keep this information hidden for now, Oyakata-sama I apologize in advance for lying to you. I
"After a few minutes, I managed to kill Nezuko, to the distraught of her brother of course who threw an axe at me but I managed to dodge it and subdue him. After he woke up I told him to become a demon slayer to avenge his family. Currently he is training under my former master." Giyu finished. He didn't intend on lying but currently he was in no position to reveal Nezuko for as she would have been killed.
"I see, is that all?" The master prodded.
"Oyakata-sama, That is not the only reason why I came here. I have reason to believe Kibutsuji was the cause for the death of the family. Nezuko was incredibly strong for a demon who had just been turned, not only that but she had retained her human appearance which is very rare amongst demons, and as far as we know only Kibutsuji can turn people into demons."
"Kibutsuji Muzan? While you do provide valid evidence Kibutsuji may have played his hand in all this, but why? Kibutsuji Muzan is not one to kill a random family. He is an elusive man, I should know, hiding in the shadows for centuries while making his moons do the work for him. The last time Kibutsuji was encountered was 460years ago!"
"Oyakata-sama, do you know the details about the last encounter?" Giyu asked quickly. He never thought Kibutsuji would have been encountered so long ago.
