You and I are in a different world making our tired hearts beat

No specific time or date, but sometime in the past

"Seungmin-Oppa! Can you walk me to class please?" A short, wide-eyed girl with long and sleek black hair says to me, batting her long eyelashes. "No, he said he was going to take me to class today!" Another girl, taller buts in, their friends following closely behind. I was never one to be able to show my real emotion on the outside so I could only roll my eyes in my head at the sight of these girls surrounding me. As I tried to walk away from the bickering to no use they all only followed close behind, I was getting annoyed. "Ya know what ladies, why don't I walk you both some other time yeah? I need a smoke." I say with a small wave and with that I was able to break free from the crowd that started to form. Making my way to the school bleachers, I cover my face with my hand from the hot sun, almost feeling pity for the students doing their outdoor activities at the moment. A sigh as well as a cloud of smoke escaped my lips as I sat on the top bench of the metal bleachers, a certain student with dark brown hair in a ponytail caught my eye. Him and a group of other Atrovirens students were playing American Football, the ball soars through the air with the brown-haired boy with his hands in the air in an attempt to catch it, only to trip on his untied shoe causing him to faceplant in the fake grass. I laugh quietly at his clumsiness, with other thoughts in mind, the boy only gets up and curses at his teammates for their bullying. I wish I knew him.

November 21st, Thursday 2:23pm

If it weren't for the sound of my own heartbeat, I wouldn't most likely have awakened until the next day. My throat was as dry as sandpaper, my eyes still felt heavy and lidded, my hair was tangled and my lips were as dry as the desert. I realized I was also still wearing the clothes I had the day before but my body felt like it was burning. Quickly, I discarded my garments and lazily walked into my bathroom for a long, cold shower. I step out and take my time changing as well. The clock read 3:10pm, I expected myself to react exaggeratedly but to my surprise I didn't. I was still tired but I had to admit that was the best sleep I had ever had lately. What happened last night? As I was more awake now than earlier, I saw a piece of paper resting on my small nightstand. It was a letter. My hand reaches over to grab it, my fingertips grasping the edges, opening the piece of notebook paper and read it,

'Hey Joo, I just wanted to say thanks for helping me last night, I had no idea what could've happened if I was in the wrong hands. For that I have something very important to tell you, I'll be at the East courtyard from 3-5 as I'd rather tell you in person, see you there,

Sincerely,
Kim Jungsu'

Although it did take me a few minutes to read the messy handwriting, I wasted no time in getting changed into proper clothing, slipping on some random slides and throwing over a black sweatshirt, wait was this mine? The article of clothing seemed a lot bigger than what I usually wear but I just brush it off and leave my room and dormitory quickly. Walking to the east courtyard took me only 5 minutes, but the school was honestly empty, just about 70 percent of the students left for their break leaving only a couple behind, including myself. I hadn't received any calls from my parents which I was grateful for, I definitely wasn't ready to speak to them yet I still needed time.

The East courtyard was almost exactly the same as the others, only there were many planted flowers that surrounded the area, giving the bland colored school a nice splash of color. The ground was wet, no snow had fallen again but it was foggy and cloudy today. I imagined everyone else was inside snuggled up in their respective beds but I saw a familiar, raven-haired male crouched next to a bunch of colorful tulips, a camera in his hands. I approached, the sound of my feet dragging the floor catching his attention, "Oh hey Joo, I'm just taking some pictures for photography class but let's go sit down," He gestures to the steps of one of the performing arts building, I only nod my head and go take a seat next to him.

"So, if you're wondering which I'm sure you are, you straight up blacked out from all the alcohol you had mister! Me and that asshole Oh Seungmin dragged your ass to your dorm room." A small smile adorned his pretty face, a look of relief washing over mine. I was grateful forJungsu, maybe even for the other guy. "I'm surprised you didn't wake up with a headache! But that and this is the least I could do for what you did for me last night, I was able to sober up easily and I come back to the festival and see a whole mess." A laugh could be heard from both of us, I felt somewhat a bit less anxious, my body and nerves relaxing a bit. "Yeah it was a shit show by the looks of it, but what's going on? What did you have to tell me?" And in an instant my nerves rose again, I raised my fingernails to my teeth and chew on them as we sat in silence for a few seconds, a deep sigh could be heard that made me look at the olders face. "Remember how I told you Han Hyungjun was a bit strange in his relationships? Well, a few days ago I found out why, I'll show you." He pulls out his phone from his jacket pocket, enters a password and scrolls through his messaging app and stops at a content whose name I couldn't read and clicks on it to show me a picture.

It was Hyungjun at what seemed like a nightclub? Him seated in a booth with a girl with blonde hair could be seen seated on his lap, a large grin on his face and a clear glass with a red liquid in his hand. I can only stare at the picture, not knowing what I should do.
