Thursday October 30th, 3:00pm, Location: JYP Main Track Bleachers
Gray clouds surrounded the whole sky as I sat quietly at the top of the metal bleachers and watched the students in the distance collect their belongings from the field getting ready to leave. Today would be the last day I had to help decorating and preparing for the Fright Fest and I was so ready for it to be over, I wasn't sure if I even wanted to go, I had no costume nor was I really into the fright spirit. Jiseok was definitely going to force me to go with his own costume, possibly even one for me. And speaking of the devil I see a familiar tuft of blue and pink hair making its way towards me.
"Why are you still up here silly?" he says and takes a seat next to me, I rest my elbows on my knees and rest my head on my hands. "I'm just stalling Seok, I'd rather die than go see that asshole," I say as I recall the past few days I had to work with the devil, he never apologized for Sunday or for any other day after that. I was constantly harassed in any way possible and believe I tried to defend myself or ask to be dropped from the project but it was no use. Not even Hyungjun was able to save me from him, everything and anything went how he wanted and I understood then why he was feared.
"I'm sorry Joo, I wish there was something I could do for you," But he knew there was no way. No way would Oh Seungmin leave Jooyeon alone until he was finished with him or until he got what he wanted, Jiseok knew exactly how it felt. "Can I ask you something? I found out that Seungmin and Jungsu, the student council president were in some type of situtionaship, do you know anything about that?" I didn't understand why I was so curious. "Oh Joo, I want you to understand he was never in any type of relationship with anyone, it was all purely sexual with just about everyone at school." He says with pure seriousness, it only took me a few seconds to realize what he meant. Oh...so Jiseok was?
"Don't think too hard about that, it doesn't matter. You should go shower and get ready to do your stuff okay?" And just like that the cotton candy haired boy got up and walked away quickly.
A few hours later, Location: Main Courtyard
"I need this finished today! We don't have time to do this tomorrow, so DO IT or else." Jungsu seemed to be as stressed as ever and it had us all on our toes, not that he didn't do that on a daily basis but we all knew we would be dead if everything isn't perfect. Right next to me was a certain silver haired male who did nothing but draw doodles on the foldable table or messed with his phone. Today he didn't seem like wanting to annoy me too much but I wasn't trying to jinx it. "Well my little lamb, you got a date tomorrow?" Were the first words spoken to me, "If you don't I don't mind being around to be your arm candy, it will cost you though, you know what I mean right?" I scowled at his arrogance, I wasn't dumb or desperate enough to accept. "I'm not interested, go ask one of your side mains," A burst of laughter escapes from his mouth, his finger pointing at me as if mocking me again. "I'm for everyone babe, I think I deserve something from you, you will come around I know it." He was truly so sure of it.
I ignore his disturbing words and continue the final touches of a project I was working on and I see someone approach me from the corner of my eye, "Hey Joo, I hope you're well," a certain Vermillion says with a smile, I nod at him also with a smile. "I came to ask you something, You wanna go to the Fest tomorrow?" I gulp at his question and look to my left to see the annoying silver haired male scowling at the scene, "Together? I would love to, you can pick me up at 9," I say and the long haired male just looks at me with a toothy grin.
Friday October 31st, 8:45pm Location: Glaucous Dormitory
"Look how adorable you are, I think I did a good job!" My friend shouts as we look at my 'costume' in the mirror, Jiseok had bought a pair of wolf ears and did my make up but it was simply a nose and whiskers on my face. I ended up wearing an all black outfit and tied my hair up into a ponytail. The shorter male had on mouse ears as well as his own painted nose and whiskers. "I don't even mind that I'll just be 3rd wheeling with you 2 tonight," he chuckles as a small blush appeared on my cheeks. We gathered any of the essentials we would need for tonight and heard a knock on the door indicating Hyungjun was here.
I opened the door to see the older dressed in a vampire costume and it looked good on him. "You look cute, come on we should get going," he grabs my hand and pulls me out of the room with Jiseok following closely behind, I think I even heard a camera shutter go off. The shortest male of all of us giggles as we walk to the main courtyard where the event was being held and from the inside of the building we were able to see all sorts of decorations, lights, stands and people. I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy this party, I never knew what to do in social settings besides just stand around awkwardly and act like I had something to do on my phone.
"Look Joo they have candy apples, I'm staying and buying one I'll catch up with you two in a bit!" I give him a small nod and stride my legs faster to walk side by side with my 'date'. We walked for a little while longer and stood by a bottle rings booth but neither of us spoke a word. The air that surrounded us was awkward at least to me it was, especially whenever the male would look up from his phone to look at me and looked back onto the screen. "Han Hyungjun I've been looking all over for you!" Jungsu shouts over the noise. I saw his eyes squint at me and I noticed he wasn't wearing a costume but his own school uniform. "Sorry babes I need him right now, I'll bring him back later." Hyungjun gives me an apologetic look as he is dragged away. Maybe I should go find a drink.
I didn't have to walk long for a booth that had beverages, no one was at the stand but there was a giant cauldron with a red substance inside. I assumed it might have had some alcohol but I didn't mind and I reached for a red solo cup and filled it halfway. The music started blaring louder and students were surrounding the main walkway. I chugged my drink ignoring the strange flavor it had and threw the plastic on the ground. It wasn't long until I started to feel tired and hot, my eyes were also heavy and lidded. One second I was trying to walk through the giant crowd of students and the next I could feel my body being pulled out. I fling my arms around the strangers neck and see a white mask on their face that was instantly pulled off by them. "My Lamb? You're a wolf now," the man said but I wasted no time in pulling his head down and placing my lips on his. I felt him hesitate before kissing me back and holding me tighter against him which made me moan in his mouth and he pulled away, "As much as I'm loving this something's wrong, I'll take you to the nurses office." My heart felt like it was about to beat out of my chest.
"Stay awake for me, yeah?"
"I'm carrying you just don't fall asleep"
"Joo don't close your eyes,"
"Jooyeon?!"
