Much to Talia's utter elation, not a single person had left the hotel's premises. Despite the goal presented before them — the utterly preposterous notion of fighting off the exorcists, everyone was still there.

Still there, and still willing to resist.

Eventually, Talia had retreated to her usual position behind the library's wooden doors; the room had somewhat become a makeshift storage unit, various weapons scattered across the floor. In all honesty, she hadn't approved of her safe space being used so callously, but she refused to voice such complaints.

She was rearranging books that had been tossed aside, muttering softly to herself with bitter resentment the entire time. "Ridiculous," she grumbled, fluffy ears flattening at a novel whose pages had been crinkled and torn, "The absolute audacity of some of these demons... I oughta have a talk with Angel..."

The doe paused as she now stood before one of the countless shelves, a little blinking light hidden beneath a book catching her attention. "Huh?"

Talia felt her frown deepen at the sight of a camera, of all things, smooth and sleek and barely noticeable at a first glance. Tilting her head slightly at the electronic, she suddenly recalled that she had seen multiple devices of the same nature scattered in somewhat hidden places throughout the hotel. "What in the world?"

Meanwhile, Vox sat in his intricately-designed surveillance room; that was his cameras that she was fucking around with, he thought with a scowl, watching as Talia messed with the device.

When he had discovered that those idiots at that forsaken building planned on fighting against the exorcists, naturally, his first response had been to laugh. Yet when he realized that, no, it hadn't just been some cruel joke, his next action had been to set up numerous cameras throughout the hotel in order to watch what was bound to be a disaster play out.

And now that stupid demon's grubby hands were all over one of his cameras.

"Is Charlie filming some sort of vlog, or something?" he heard Talia mutter, the camera's inner microphone picking up the inquiry. "Why in the world is this here?"

"No," Vox grumbled, rolling his eyes as he spun around in his chair. "That's my shit you're messing with, you fucking moron."

Vox dragged a hand across his screen, heaving out an irritated sigh as he heard the doe's confused mumbling. "You better put my camera down, whore," he muttered to himself, digital lips pulling back into an irritated grimace.

Vox observed with barely-subdued agitation as the camera was tilted away from her face. "Wait a minute," her voice murmured, "Is this that other guy's camera...?"
