I looked around the city finding flyers for people who want an apartment.. I've been living at the Kocho house for far longer than I wanted. Although I'm super grateful for all they've done I believe that from now on it should be just me and Inosuke

Kotoha POV

"Oo this is cheap for 2 rooms...if I have no other choice I'll get a 1 bedroom. But I want him to grow independently" I mutter underneath my breath.

I walk with my head buried in flyers and I bump into something

'Why is there a pole in the middle of the sidewalk'

I look up and see a man with blue eyes and dark hair

"Oh sorry I wasn't paying attention."

"It's ok."

I'm still in the middle of the sidewalk of where I bumped into that suspicious man. I mean..he wasn't strange...but something felt like he held something.

I continue walking till I got a notification on my phone

TRANSACTION:COMPLETE———"UNKOWN" SUCCESSFULLY GAVE KOTOHA.H17@YAHOO.COM $16,000

I looked at my phone with these words on my screen

"Eh?"

"WHATTT?! THIS MUSTVE BEEN SOME MISTAKE"

I frantically look around but I was alone in that sidewalk.

Akaza POV 10 minutes earlier~~~

'Douma asked me to wire his lover about 16k. I don't even know if it's his actual lover or he's stalking her like the other girl. But even with that butterfly girl he never gave her anything. This is overall suspicious.'

"Hah...now where could she be? Douma said she'd be around here...how does he even know that? Is he stalking her as I speak"

'I feel something bump into me and mutter some words...pole?'

"Oh sorry, I wasn't paying attention"

'I look her up and down. This is the woman. I do a simple tap near her phone and I get her number.'

"It's ok."

'Hmm ok now I should be able to wire this to her now...why am I doing this? If he likes her he should've done it plus I already have a wife..that seems like a bad thing to discuss if she finds out. I'll tell my love anyway'

Back to Kotoha POV

"How did this happen. Does it have to do with the incident earlier with that man I bumped into?"

Shinobu walks in Kotoha's room

"You know you can stay longer if you want. Your company is nice to have around"
She said as she sits on the edge of my bed

"Oh no...I couldn't possibly. I've imposed on all of your lives for far too long. It's time I really become independent and buy my own stuff..."

I pause

"Back with Asahi. I couldn't buy anything I wanted unless it was for him. Or food. I've never bought my own phone where he didn't look through it. I've always depended on someone. After him it was you. I want to be on my own now. I want to give it a shot..if I do come into trouble I hope you'll invite me with open arms again..although you don't have to.."

"No it's ok Ms Hashibira. You are like me and Kanaes mother. Our parents died when we were young so we had to fend for ourselves. I wish we had met sooner"

'Hearing Shinobu's words I feel something.. what is this called...'

"Well, we met now.. I'm glad I met you all too. You make me feel like I belong. Even with my biological family.. I didn't feel in place. So thank you."

'Shinobu starts tearing up and I comfort her the. She speaks up'

"Let's pack everything now shall we"

'She had a weak smile but it was real.'

30 minutes later~~~

"Hah, thank goodness I didn't have that much stuff anyway, I should help Inosuke now."

"No it's ok, I told Aoi to help him earlier, they should be done now"

"Again thank you for everything. I would've have been able to get this far without your hospitality"

"Don't mention it"

'We hug'

Douma POV

"Hah...I wonder what Kotoha is doing now, I've lost her location.. Akaza doesn't know where she is either"

"Douma-dono."

"Hmm? Yes?"

'Weird what is my assistant doing here? He only comes if I ask..'

"While we were tailing Ms Kotoha we found someone else following her. We suspect they might be from the black moths."

"WHAT?!"

....idk what to say yall. I've been so drained with school I can barely write. Stuff has slowed down now should it should update a bit more faster. Please forgive me if I don't do it. And this one is quite short with only 833 words.
