In the bright sunlight of the morning, you could hear the waves crashing against the ship, the muffled commotion above on the main deck, the shouting of crewmates yelling 'land ahoy'. Yawning, you struggled out of the tipsy hammock, almost falling down, but catching yourself at the last moment.

You had to squint your eyes as you stepped up onto the deck, shielding the rays of sun from your face with your arm. Everyone was rushing around - barrels being tossed from one man to the other when orders were barked - dodging and weaving each other as they prepared to dock at port.

It was a whirlpool of people going back and forth. With how much movement there was, you'd think that the whole ship would be practically rocking from side to side. You danced around the barrels and crates, avoiding getting hit with boxes of fruits and fish. You felt yourself start to get dizzy with how much you had to turn and turn just to get out of being thwacked with someone's arm. And you thought you knew your way around the ship from the past week of serving the vessel.

As you walked backwards, you accidentally bumped into someone behind you, causing you to jump. You squeaked, whipping your head around to excessively apologise, but instead you found your heart fluttering yet again, for probably the ten millionth time this week.

Leon smiled and laughed. "Make sure you don't fall into my arms, next time." He remarked. You laughed with him, your cheeks flushing red.

He gently took your arm and pulled you closer, smirking. He guided you towards the upper deck, where the view was astonishingly beautiful. He held you by the waist, pointing to the distance where you could see land, actual land, covered with housing and docks. You could almost smell the delicious aroma of food wafting in your nose.

"That," he said, "is La Kuenoh. The palace of Rohan is just over the hills, where the snobby rich bitches live."

"La Kuenoh." You muttered, mesmerised by its beauty. "I've never seen land before, let alone a town on it."

"Well, its a city, just smaller than the rest. But, I mean, home's home."

You were in a trance. La Kuenoh was so much unalike to your kingdom, the main difference just being on land out in the open amazing you more than anything. The way the waves hugged the sand every time they reached the edge of the land, the way the the houses varied in colour that was complimented by the lighting, the way the birds sang and floated along the sea breeze. Something about it had your heart in lock and key.

There was excitement building up in you as you continued to grow closer, mouth agape and slowly turning into a overzealous grin. Each second you saw a new detail of the city, you felt like jumping with glee.

"Someone's excited." Leon teased. You bobbed your head in agreement, unable to keep enthusiasm at bay. You felt like jumping back into the water and swimming over right then and there.

"Leon," bellowed a voice from below, "get your pretty ass down here and help!"

"Coming!" Leon shouted back. He let go of your hip, his hand snaking over to your hand, gently placing a kiss on the back of it. "See you later, sweetheart." He said as he walked back down the stairs to assist the others.

You sighed. Inside, you felt so blessed to be looking upon this gorgeous city of colour and life. It reminded you of the bright mess of a place your own kingdom was, which made you feel a little guilty inside. You may hate that place, but you couldn't help but feel bad about leaving so abruptly, and the image of your parents faces haunts you. You knew they were horrible, but they were your parents.

Jill approached you from behind, seeing that you were thinking about something upsetting you. She stood beside you, following your gaze to the city ahead.
