His hands fondled with your hair, gently brushing his fingers through each strand of hair. "You look so beautiful," he muttered from above you as your head lay rested on his lap, "so, so very beautiful." His calloused hands brushed against your cheek, his eyes icy blue eyes locking with yours.

"I can't believe I met you," he sighed, "I don't know how I managed to get so lucky." His words were like honey, sweet and lovely. He smiled, which calmed you, your bad thoughts disappearing from your head as you looked up at him.

"I can't believe I met you either," you said softly, "I guess we're both lucky."

"Yeah. Guess we are."

Your eyes flickered down to his lips. His lips parted slightly as he watched you stare at his lips, his thumb moving to brush along your lower lip. You felt his hands trail down to your hips, pulling you up onto his lap, his gaze never leaving yours.

"I love you, (y/n)," he mumbled into you ear.

Your breath hitched, moving your own hands to the scruff of his neck. A shiver went down your spine when he leaned closer, just centimetres away from your mouth. You whispered an 'I love you' back, and your lips connected in a passionate kiss.

An unfamiliar feeling of heat rose throughout your body. Sparks flew inside of you. There was a feeling like fish swimming in your stomach that made you all giddy. His lips felt like heaven. They were soft and perfect, just like him.

His hand slid down to your a-

"(y/n)!" One of the pirates shouted in your ear.

You screamed loudly, startled. Eyes wide, your head spun around, eyes darting in every direction. The pirate laughed, playfully punching your shoulder.

"Jesus, you scream like a girl!" The man chuckled.

"Don't do that, Polar!"

"Why not? We're back a La Kuenoh!" Polar chuckled. His twin brother, Bear, ran onto the cart that the two were on, slamming into his brother. Bear gave you a goofy smile, looking you up and down.

"Are you still sleeping?" He asked, snorting. "We got back ages ago! It's time to wake up, sleepy head!"

"I'm up," you groaned, "I'm up!"

"Leave him alone, Bear." Polar waved his brother off, shoving the skinny man off of him. Bear simply ruffled his brother's hair and yours, shoving his brother back in the process. He hopped back off of the empty cart, bumping into Leon as he did.

"Oh, Leon! Your sleeping beauty's awoken." He teased, walking past him to the rest of the pirates. Leon scoffed, rolling his eyes.

You crawled out of the cart, rubbing your eyes to keep yourself awake. As you glanced at your surroundings, you realised that you were back in La Kuenoh. The others were by the docks, chatting happily without the company of Harlynn the traitor.

Even though it was a lot more peaceful now with Harlynn locked up, for some reason, there was a small part of you that missed the old man, no matter how cruel the deed he did to you. But you pushed the feeling aside, as the ex-pirate was no longer a part of your life, therefore he was not important anymore.

Chris and Jill were having their own conversation at the corner of the docks - they were lovebirds, you could tell - while the crew were patting each others backs, laughing and joking, being the merry people they were.

Leon swooped you up from behind, holding you bridal style in his arms. Your heart stopped for a second, partly from fright, but mostly from his never-ending strength he seemed to have. You giggled nervously, your cheeks becoming bright red.
