-------

Silently, the griffins landed in the palace gardens, making sure nobody noticed them. Librus honestly was delighted to be in Rohan, as much he hated the country and it's kingdom. Reason being that the griffin would be involved with the royals death. Well, the prince's. The blonde pirate said to leave the king and queen alone, as they were his parents and they'd done no wrong. He could've begged to differ, but he didn't and agreed to his terms.

But now he was here, siding with surprisingly benevolent pirates that wanted nothing more than to kill in cold blood - or in justice, perhaps. The griffin also stopped to ask the witch for her help along the way. It was a struggled process with how stubborn the witch was, but eventually the woman complied and rode along with them.

The tribe approached the band of pirates standing and waiting behind a few bushes. The humans emerged glancing around at the roaming knights to make sure they weren't noticing the giant beasts in the forest around them.

"Glad you could make it." Chris, the captain, said, a lopsided grin plastered on his face. Librus nodded, knowing there wasn't much time to chat.

Ear-splitting screams suddenly echoed in their ears, indicating their queue to start moving. At least the large griffin knew that the witch was doing her assigned task. He could just hear her booming voice as she insulted the prince.

"Alright," Librus commanded, "let's get moving. Fire claw, you will stay high and keep watch. Make sure nothing interferes with the mission."

Fire claw's face drooped. He wanted to fight with the rest of his tribe, not watch. He always watched, and it was getting so boring and annoying. "What?!" The young griffin exclaimed. "You said I could fight with you!"

"You will fight," Librus assured, "the humans who try and interfere with the mission. I never said you could get into the real action, you are far too unprepared for that. Now quit complaining, we don't have that much time! Everyone climb on!"

---

"Your fun days are over, prince... oh who cares what your name is, anyway. No one's going to miss you once your dead and the truth's out!"

"Shut up, you vile mouthed witch! You aren't welcome here, and I exile you to the rest of your days." Everyone cheered for the prince, but Ada simply laughed, wheezed, almost dropping to her knees.

"Seriously? You exile me? Is that the best comeback you've got? This generation's seriously bound for a downfall in IQ if you're in power." She cackled again.

The prince became agitated, his eye twitching. "Silence! Enough! That's enough out of you, elderly lady! I don't have time for your slow movements. Time goes faster now, keep up! Guards, seize that woman!"

Ada smirked. She brought the palm of her hand up to her lips as she heard the clunking of the soldiers running, whispered something that most likely was an incantation, and a glowing purple ball appeared in her hand. She raised her arm up and threw the purple ball at the knights. The ball expanded, growing bigger and bigger. When it hit the ground, it blasted the men back to the arena's walls.

The witch took her chance, putting her fingers to her mouth and whistling. A moment of silent followed as the crowd, guards, and royals all stared in anticipation. Then, over the stadium walls, eleven griffins, ten of them with a pirate on their backs, flew down into the arena, standing tall beside the witch.
