⚠️TW! ED MENTION!⚠️

CARLY POV:

I've been scrolling on my phone for an hour or so, which means it's practically lunch time. I feel hungry, my brain says I am.

Well part of it does anyways. The other part screams at me to not eat. I know I can't listen, but I know how I look.

After a quick little debate with myself, I settle for eating a salad with water. Still food but less intimidating and just less food in general.

Slowly, I walk downstairs and grab some ingredients to make my salad.

- Lettuce
- Tomato
-Cucumber
- Celery
- Radish
- Dressing

Can I even call that a salad? Or should it just be 'Carly gets vegetables, throws them in a salad bowl and calls it a salad!' It's a Carly salad. Done.

I cut the vegetables, and just throw them into the bowl, mix them a bit then add the dressing, then mix again. The Carly salad is done! I quickly grab a cup and get some water.

To be honest I'd rather not die of dehydration.

I move to sit in my usual spot in the dining room. I go on my phone and scroll on tiktok. The one app that feels like you're on for twenty minutes, but it's really been four hours.

Tiktok is a distraction, for when I don't want to feel something.

I don't want to feel like I'm eating so much.

—————
Just a salad and water, that's all it takes,
but what happens when the love for that, breaks?

Tiktok can distract for on a short while,
who knows what will happen without it?
Her food might end in a pile.

(A/N sorry it's short this is me trying to post during a really busy time!)
