⚠️TW! ED MENTION! Bad thoughts?⚠️
(Please read at own risks)

CARLY POV:

Did I really make my mom come home? Am I burdening her with all my problems? What am I doing?

I'm going to tear this family apart. I'm going to burden them all.

"Carly?"

I turn around and see my little sister.

"Will you play dollies with me?"

"Awh of course."

"YAY! Let's go!"

She took me hand and drags me upstairs. HOW IS SHE SO STRONG?

"Okay. This is Tiffany. This is Julie. They are best friends." She looks up at me, "Got it?"

"I- got it."

WHY IS THIS KID SO SASSY??

"This is Zach. He's Tiffany's boyyyfriendddd." She drags.

"And what do you know about having a boyfriend missy?"

"Nothing." She shurgs. "I just do what I see mummy and daddy do. Hug, Kiss and love each other."

"Awhh alright."

"Anyways, This is Tony. You can be him, he's weird."

"Chloe-."

"What? He is."

"Chloe, just because you think he's weird doesn't mean you can't like him. You should be nice to everyone. Even though this is just a doll..." I look up at her and see her nodding.

My 7 year old sister gets it..

Why can't Emily?

"Alright then. I'll be Tony and Tiffany. You're Chad and Julie."

"Okay."

THREE HOURS LATER

"DINNERS READY!" My mom shouts.

Dinner already? I'VE BEEN PLAYING DOLLS FOR 3 HOURS? Chloe does know how to keep people hooked on something-.

"COMING MUMMY! Come on Carly, dinners ready!"

"I'm coming, I'm coming."

We head downstairs and see pasta and sauce with a side of salad.

Food reminds me, I have to start eating less? Or do I eat nothing?  How about just the salad?

"Mum I'm still not one hundred percent feeling better, can I just have a little bit of salad?"

"Are you sure that's all you want? Eating less might hurt your stomach more?"

Eating less will also get me skinny.

"I'm sure."

"Okay then.." my mom looks skeptical.

I grab a small bowl of salad and head to the dining room, I see my father and younger siblings all tucking into their food. They look so happy without a care in the world. Me on the other hands, I'm even worried a flipping salad will get me fatter.

Grow up Carly. It's just some salad.

But it's not just salad to me. It's something that will change my life, big time.

—————
Carly's less-eating is concerning her mom,
but on the outside, she tries to keep calm.

The lesson that Carly taught her sister,
Is the same one she hopes Emily won't blister.
