When Levi opened his eyes again, he saw the familiar sight of Enzo's hideout, but along with that sight came an unfamiliar feeling of warmth around his waist? He looked down to see Enzo's pale veiny arm wrapped around his waist.
Levi's eyes widened suddenly at the realization. He wanted to push Enzo's arm off gently or perhaps tell Enzo to move it, but deep down he liked the feeling. It was surprisingly...comforting?
A few seconds later Enzo's arm retracted back from Levi's waist to his own side. "You're really red, y'know. You good?" Enzo asked, knowing exactly the reason why Levi was turning red.
Levi nodded in response and looked around Enzo's room. The first time he was here he didn't really look around his room much but upon first glance Levi could see a bunch of materials scattered around the room including; a sewing machine in the corner on the desk that was covered in designs for everyday attire, hero/villain suits, and a lot of other random stuff. There was also a box of thread, needles, and endless fabrics of many different colors and textures.
"Yep I'm fine" Levi said with the tips of his ears still red. A quick look of triumph flashed across Enzo's face as he acknowledged Levi's redness.
Enzo walked to the nearby kitchen and took out a bottle of whiskey.
"You drink whiskey,?" he asked Levi. Levi nodded his head as he looked around, not really processing Enzo's question. He could handle his fair share of alcohol. But once he got going it was hard to stop him. Especially with whiskey. Levi never drank whiskey. So getting his hands on it meant at least 4 glasses minimum.
Enzo came over with two glasses of whiskey, one for him and one for Levi. He handed Levi a glass and sat on the couch. He turned towards Levi who was already downing his glass. He knew Levi would be black out drunk by the end of the night
"Hey Levi. Wanna play a game?" Enzo asked
"What game" Levi turned and asked Enzo already down with his glass of whiskey.
"Never have I ever. For each thing you've done you take a shot." Enzo explained
"Sounds fun, I'm in." Levi said as he walked closer and sat on the couch.
Enzo only suggested the game to see how many shots it took to get Levi black out drunk. It was more a game for himself then for the both of them.
On the contrary, Levi was only up to play the game so that he could get more shots. He was still feeling the effects of the drink he had a bit earlier. He didn't remember how many he had, but being tipsy + the offer of more drinks = a disaster.
The two men started the game and as it progressed an outcome neither of them expected came about. Enzo got drunk instead of Levi, and Enzo considered himself to have a pretty high tolerance so it just went to show how many shots he really had to take.
Levi looked over at Enzo, who was slumped over the arm of his couch with a cherry red face. That night, a fact was learned. Enzo was a very talkative drunk. He was just rambling on and on, never stopping to catch his breath. Levi just nodded along to Enzo mindlessly babbling about the most random shit. On one hand it was the cutest thing ever and on the other hand, Levi wanted to duck tape Enzo's mouth shut.
Enzo started to talk about how annoying it was to live with Clementine. "Then she said 'oh you're having sex with the hero? Called it.' Like what the fuck do you mean called it. And what do you mean we were having sex. I wish" Enzo said as he started to giggle uncontrollably.
"Excuse me?" Levi said, astonished. What did Enzo mean by he "wished" they had sex! There could be a chance that maybe Enzo was just spouting nonsense. But they did say drunk words were sober thoughts. Could there be a possibility that that was how Enzo actually felt? No way. Right?
Of course not! Enzo would never like a guy, especially not Levi. He was just being his normal, dumbass self. Maybe a drinking game wasn't the best idea?
"-And then she told me I had no heart! She's so rude!"
Yeah, it was a stupid ass idea.
