Your heart and mine

Chapter 6

*2 hours later

Enzo woke up to him and Levi both laying in bed together with Levi clinging onto him.

"Oh shit," he thought. He didn't want to move. He was so goddamn comfortable with Levi on him like this. Not to mention how cute he was with a bed head and the little line of drool coming down from his mouth.

"Eh, why should I move him? '' Enzo thought. "I'll just keep him on me for a bit longer." Enzo had an extremely important mission to go on later. But this mission was more important. When else would he have the hero in his bed (Come to find out a lot more hehehe).

Enzo then had another crisis to figure out, where was he supposed to put his hands? Around his waist? But that seemed like too much for the first time they've done this. Maybe his hair? But what if he wakes up. "But if I keep my hands to myself he may think I don't wanna be around him while he's asleep and-"

Before he could finish his thought, he felt Levi scooting closer to him. Enzo looked down at him. "Fuck it," he whispered before putting his hand around Levi's waist and burying his head into Levi's hair.

*30 minutes later*

Levi woke up in Enzo's arms a bit panicked but still comfy. "Psst...Enzo.  You up" Just as Levi thought Enzo was asleep a groggy deep voice sounded from behind him "what do you need" grumbles. Levi slightly jumped at the sudden voice. Levi was red and kicking his damn feet, Enzo's sleepy voice was literally killing him. He finally cleared his throat and spoke up "I have to get home y'know to prepare for tomorrow" he says wanting to pout. The last thing he wanted to do was leave but what else could he do. He has to. Or people would get suspicious. Enzo groaned (which was actually so hot. Like yummers) "I'm comfy. 10 more minutes" Enzo said half asleep. He most likely had no idea what he was saying. He rarely ever does when he's tired. Levi looked up "But what if your henchman comes back and catches-" Enzo cut him off "she's dating your sidekick. She doesn't give a shit" Levi's eyes widened. "What?" "Be quiet and go back to sleep, I'm tired" Enzo grumbled whilst Levi was red in the face. 

*Later in the day*

They both woke up. And sat up. Enzo's eyes widened as he remembered the hostage situation he had to deal with as a mission. Levi remembered the meeting he was supposed to attend so they both said their goodbyes and ran out of the room.

The rest of the day felt..empty to say the least. The moment they shared even if neither of them were awake enough to fully take it in was the best few hours they'd ever spent with each other (granted the only). The whole day both of their minds kept wandering to the other.

Enzo wasn't ashamed of his thoughts at all. He'd let his mind wander wherever it wanted whenever it wanted. In the middle of a hostage situation, doing paperwork for the henchmen (he may be a villain but he still pays his workers 😒), even whilst eating. (He was eating a popsicle).

Levi on the other hand tried to push his thoughts away, to no avail. He knew deep down he adored Enzo but it wasn't professional nor was it morally okay (in his eyes aka his fathers eyes [THAT BITCH]). No matter how hard he tried he kept thinking about Enzo.

"Wonder what shampoo he uses" Levi thought before snapping out of his thoughts. (Yummy)

Levi planned on going home after his meeting. Then maybe see if he can find Enzo. Last time he checked he never got Enzo's number.

Just then got a text. Levi got excited and nervous as he unlocked his phone just for his excitement to drop as he saw it was just Madeline.

The text read "Where tf were you"

Levi was dreading this conversation but he was a grown ass man. He could do whatever he wanted.

*A while later*

Levi unlocked the door to he and Madeline's shared home. Once he entered and it was dark he figured he was in the clear so he proceeded quietly. Just then the lights flicked on and Madeline emerged from the back hallway.

"Oh hey Mads. How was your day" Levi said feigning innocence hoping she didn't know about his secret visit.

"Don't fucking 'Hey Mads' me. You've been gone since yesterday night. You said you were going on a run and you lied to me!" Madeline exclaimed angrily.

"Ermm....well I was-" Levi started before being cut off

"Don't even try to make up a lie, I know where you were. Clem texted me saying you were in Pista's bed! At least I tell you I won't be home. You had me worried sick though. For all I knew you could be dead, drunk, or gone. Then what would I do dipshit?! You said we were in it together all the way but if you won't let me know shit how are we supposed to be in it together?! When you fucking found me you promised that'd you'd always be here, and that no matter what I'd always feel reassured and safe, but right now Levi I don't feel like that! I'm almost a god damn adult but yet you street me like I'm 6 and that I don't need to know about your whereabouts. I'm not only your damn sidekick! You said 'we're like siblings' well siblings don't lie and leave the other one hanging!"

Maddi finished her rant with tears streaming down her cheeks. She looked just like how she did when her parents had died when Levi found her. That's what broke Levi's heart

"Mads I'm so so sorry. You're right I would've told you the truth. Or at least texting you." Levi said, pulling Maddi into a hug. From now on I'll tell you the truth and only the truth.

Maddi nodded and whispered "you're an asshole"

That didn't surprise Levi at all. At least his usual Maddi was back.
