Class ends and everyone makes their way out. "Crimson, wait!" Red hurries to catch up with her. "Hey, what's up? It's Red, right?" She asks. Red nods. "Yeah, i just wanted to talk a little bit." She didn't want to admit it but maybe she was a little jealous of how Chloe was so open to her right away. Maybe being stuck in the past together gave them a reason to stick together but now that they're back, there's no reason they couldn't make more friends with other people. Red wasn't sure if she liked the idea or not, but for now, if Chloe was gonna make new friends, then she might as well too. "So, where are you from?" They both walk to the dining room. "Oh, um, I'm from Auradon, originally. Yeah, my parents met in school."
"Oh cool, where are they from?" Something about these twins seemed off and Red was going to get to the bottom of it. If not for her sake, then for Chloe's. But she wasn't ready to admit that just yet. "Um....you know what? I'm not entirely sure, i never really asked them." As they're walking in the halls, they pass by Chloe and Cree. The twins share a look before both turning the corner. "So, you and your sister look alike, but then again, I'm pretty sure most twins do." Chloe smiles. "I like your purple hair." She compliments him. "Thanks." "So, what class do you have next?" Chloe checks her schedule. "Um, Enchantments. You?" Cree nods. "Same here. Did you wanna walk together?" Chloe shrugs. "Sure, why not?" As they walk to class, some students stare as they pass them in the hallways. "Isn't that Cinderella's daughter?" They whisper. "Yeah, i heard she got roomed with Red from Wonderland. I'm not surprised though. Those two are like best friends, they practically grew up together."
Cree smirks as Chloe takes a mental note to talk to Red more after this class. As she anxiously waits for the bell to ring so she can see Red again, considering they have class together after this, she also wonders why she's so anxious and nervous at the same time. This is Red, her friend, her best friend that she barely knows anything about, yet she knows everything about in the back of her head. Before she knew it, the bell rang once again. She spent the whole class time thinking about Red, she forgot to focus on the actual lesson. Oh, she's gonna be in so much trouble. But she'll just ask one of the other students for notes later. It was lunchtime so she hurried into the dining hall and tried to find Red. Once she spotted those Carmine locks, she knew she found her. She walked towards her table and sat down next to her. "Hey!" "Hey Princess, how were your classes?" Red asks her. "They were alright, just a little bit too much to take in on barely the second day of school." Chloe takes a sip of her juice. "I know what you mean, I'm ready for a nap already." Crimson laughs before Cree elbows her. "Ow! What was that for?" "Oh nothing." Cree casually takes a bite of his sandwich.
"So, anyways, i heard Castlecoming is in a few weeks. Are you guys planning on going?" He asks them. "Why does that bring back horrible memories?" Red whispered before Chloe holds her hand. "It's ok." She whispered to her. "Um is there something we should know?" Crimson asks. "Nope, not at all." Red was quick to answer. They don't need to know that they time traveled. Red wasn't even sure that they'd believe them to begin with. "Um, are you guys going?" Chloe quickly changes the subject. Cree notices that they haven't let go of each other's hands. "Maybe, we aren't exactly sure yet." Cree shrugs. "You guys should come, it'll be fun!" Chloe smiles. "We'll see." Crimson smiles back. Red glances between them before reaching for Chloe's fries. "Hey! My fries!" Chloe protests. "Oh calm down, Princess. Here take my fruit. I'm sure you'd prefer the healthier choice anyways." She places her fruit bowl onto Chloe's tray. "I guess." Chloe accepts her fruit and starts eating a grape.
Lunch ended as they all went their separate ways. "Hey! Can we talk for a second?" Chloe walks with Red back to their room. "Um, sure. What's up?" She unlocks their door and holds it open for Chloe. "So you know how we changed history and now we're like best friends?" Chloe goes to sit on her bed. "Yeah?" "But we don't actually know anything about each other and yet in the back of our heads, we do, somehow?" Red nods. "What's your point?" Chloe sighs. "I don't know, someone said something today and it just got me thinking. We have all these memories together, all these little things that we know about each other but we don't really know anything about each other. Does that make sense?" Red shakes her head. Chloe sighs. "I'm not explaining this very well. It's like we know about each other but we don't know each other, does that make sense?" Red thinks for a second. "Kind of, i guess?" Chloe tries to remember something, anything about Red. "Like i know you don't like sushi, but I don't know why." Red slowly nods. "Ok, i kinda get you now. Um, and yeah, you're right. I don't like sushi. I don't like seafood in general." Red frowns in disgust. "Well, why not?" Chloe pats her bed for Red to sit in front of her. "Um, i was kind of a picky eater growing up. I used to refuse to eat certain foods just to rebel against my mom. Now that she's much nicer, i still remember not eating seafood but not because of out of spite, but because i genuinely don't like it. I remember her saying that it's good for me and making me eat it. Not exactly forcing me to but still refusing to let me leave the table till i do. And the first time i tried it, i threw up all over the table." Red sits in front of her, cross legged like Chloe as their knees touch.
"I'm so sorry, Red." Chloe gently touches her knee. Red freezes. "Um, it's ok. It's in the past. And besides, my mom never forced me to eat anything i didn't want to, ever again." Chloe smiles and nods. "I'm glad to hear that." Red suddenly remembers. "Hey, can we change the subject?" She asks. "To what?" Chloe smiles. "Did you notice anything about the new kids?" Red stands. "The twins? What about them?" Chloe sits up more. "I'm telling you, something about them seems....i don't know, something just seems off. I mean, who do you know that has a purple color palette?"
Chloe shrugs. "Queen Mal? Yzma? Maleficent? Jasmine and Aladdin?" Red shakes her head. "Yeah, i doubt they're Jaladdin's kids." Chloe nods. "Yeah, they don't really look like them. And please never say that again." Red cringes. "What? Jaladdin?" Chloe smiles. "Ugh, please stop." Chloe laughs. "Ok, fine. So, are you going to Castlecoming?" She asks her. "I don't know. I mean, if someone were to ask me, then i guess. Maybe. What about you?" Red goes over to her closet. Chloe shrugs. "I thought about it, i mean, my parents fell in love at that dance so, who knows? Maybe I'll find my one true love there too?" The idea didn't sit well with Red. Don't get her wrong, she wants Chloe to be happy and find love. She just wants to be the one that she finds it with. The one that makes her happy. "So no one's asked you yet?" Chloe shakes her head. "No." Red gathers her nerves. "You know, our moms were originally gonna go together before your parents got together. Maybe, we could go together?" She asks nervously. "Are you saying we might find our one true love there?" Chloe jokes. Red shrugs. "Who knows?" Chloe thinks for a moment before smiling. "Ok, deal. Yeah, let's do it. Let's go together. It'll be fun!" She suddenly gasps. "We can pick out our dresses together!" She grabs Red's hand excitedly. "Oh, sorry. I know you don't like being touched." She tries to pull her hand away until Red holds it there with her other one. "If it's you, it's fine." They smile at each other before the bell rings once again for supper.
