When Toni met Loki

"Kneel before me!" Loki shouted to the crowd.

"I volunteer!" A hand shot up like a first grader, happily jumping and running to the front where he stood, kneeling in front of him and clawing at his leg.

The pre-Avengers looked at the spot Antonia Maria Knight (Stark) was just sitting in. Her weapons were still in the seat. They were all questioning how she got out of the helicopter that hadn't even landed and if they should contact her therapist.

"No, Toni," Nat said in her ear.

"Yes, Toni!" Antonia said as she pulled the earpiece from her ear.

Loki looked at the woman with curiosity. She seemed willing to do whatever he asked... and he liked that. He liked that power.

"Hmm," he lifted her chin up to look into her eyes. "I like you."

She looked at him with a lovey-dovey smile.

"What are you waiting for?" Loki shouted. "I SAID KNEEL!"

People started kneeling, scared of what would happen, except for one old man.

Everyone was kneeling while she held onto Loki's leg.

"Not to men like you," the old man said proudly.

"SHUT UP OLD MAN AND KNEEL!" Antonia shouted angrily at the man, startling many. "Damn! I'm trying to hear him speak. Ok, go ahead!" She smiled up at Loki.

Loki looked at the girl, amused, and started running his fingers through her braids before turning back to look at the man. "There are no men like me," Loki said.

"There are always men like you," the old man responded.

"Really? Where?" Antonia popped up but was brought back down by Loki's hand once again, not liking her attention on anyone other than him. If she wanted more of him, then he could easily give her more of him. He looked her dead in the eyes.

"Look to your elder, people. Let him be an example." Loki was just about to blast the old man when Captain America ruined it by standing in front of the man, having the blast bounce off his shield and back at Loki. Loki and Antonia tumbled over.

"Nooooo!" Antonia screamed.

Captain quickly walked to her and brought her behind him before signaling her to walk back to the copter. She shook her head, but then he gave her that firm look. She complied. Compared to the big leagues, she was just a kid. Frozone was in his prehistoric age.

She looked back at Loki before turning and walking away, singing, "Heart been broke so many times, I don't know what to believe."

"You know, the last time I was in Germany and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ended up disagreeing," Captain said as he walked toward Loki. People started standing up once they saw him.

"The soldier," Loki rose to his feet. "The man out of time."

"I'm not the one who's out of time," Cap said.

The quinjet came up behind Cap. A gun came out from under the plane.

"Loki, drop the weapon and stand down."

Loki fired at the jet instead. Cap then threw his shield, causing Loki to almost drop his scepter until he knocked Cap down and held the scepter to his head.

Antonia was sitting down, not paying attention, and singing, "Don't save her, she don't want to be saved. Don't save me, I don't want to be saved," while sobbing, missing the fine specimen.

"Kneel!" Loki said.

"Not today," Cap responded.

Cap then jumped up and kicked Loki in the face. The two continued to fight.

"Guy's all over the place," Nat said, then looked around. "Does anyone know where Antonia is?" She waited for a response but was met with silence and muttered, "I don't get paid to babysit."

Cap then tumbled over as Loki hit him.

"Agent Romanoff, you miss me?" Tony asked in the earpiece with a smirk.

Then music started playing, causing the fight to pause as a light came and punched Loki down.

"Daddy?" Antonia jumped up from her hidden position, seeing her dad land, not noticing Loki being punched.

Tony landed in a pose.

"Make a move, reindeer games," he said to Loki as Captain America stood next to him. Antonia was running toward them too.

Loki then changed clothes and held his hands up in surrender.

"Good move," Tony said while lowering his weapons.

"Mr. Stark," Captain America said.

"Captain," Tony replied.

"Daddy!" Antonia said while running into his suit.

"Tony 2.0," Tony smiled inside his suit as he hugged his daughter.

"Daddy?" Captain America and Loki said at the same time, tilting their heads, one from concern and one from jealousy.
