"I just don't understand why he left me," Antonia sighed, blowing her nose into a tissue as she lay on the stairs, tears threatening to spill over. "I thought we were good together, you know? He was clearly obsessed with me, and I was going to treat him like a god. Though, he'd always claim he was a god. But what did Cap say? 'There's only one God, ma'am.' I just wanted to be the one to beg him to lick my tears away after-"

"Mini me, please!" Tony interrupted sharply, distracted as he injected himself, though Antonia barely paid attention to him. "Why do you look like somebody died?

"Because I'm heartbroken, daddy," she insisted, her voice cracking slightly. "I'm mourning the loss of the man who will be in the tomb next to me"

"He was the villain," Tony replied, pausing his injections long enough to glance at her.

"But we looked good together," she shot back, her voice quiet but insistent.

"He was the villain," Tony repeated, trying to focus on his task.

"A hot villain," she retorted, her eyes narrowing as she propped herself up, still not letting go of the thoughts swirling in her mind.

Tony sighed heavily, continuing his injections without much enthusiasm.

"Ow," he grumbled as the needle sank in, causing him to grimace.

"Forty six," Jarvis's voice cut in, monotone.

"I mean, imagine me as the princess of Asgard," Antonia rambled, completely lost in her own thoughts, "I could've been queen of the world if you didn't stop him."

Tony groaned again, barely acknowledging her words.

"Forty seven," Jarvis continued, robotic as ever.

Antonia shot him a glare, her eyes narrowing. "Do you mind? I'm trying to rant here, and you're being disrespectful with all that noise."

Tony, ever the reluctant problem solver, suggested, "You could always work with Pepper. Since Misty's there for the time being."

Antonia paused, blinking slowly as she processed his words. "I'm not taking a job with her."

Tony, undeterred, continued his injections. "Ow!"

Jarvis jumped in again. "Sir, please may I request just a few hours to calibrate-"

"Nope," Tony snapped, quickly completing another injection. "Forty eight. Micro repeater implanting sequence complete."

"As you wish, sir," Jarvis replied, ever polite. "I've also prepared a safety briefing for you to ignore."

Tony grinned. "Which I will." As he stood up from his seat, he adjusted his collar with a smug look.

"Want me to walk in and see mom and Pepper, hooking up?" Antonia shivered at the thought, walking beside him. She pushed against him lightly, but Tony gently pushed her back.
