The rest of the working day is spent thinking about what Megan said, it just doesn't make sense to me. Why did she say she act in a way of jealousy when she only found out about the pregnancy this morning?

Something isn't right. It just doesn't make sense.

That's on my mind all afternoon and into the benign as I wait for Nathan to come home. He was called into a last minute meeting with the principal and a few others, he insisted I waited for him but I really couldn't be bothered, it's been a long day. I end up falling asleep on the couch whilst waiting for him.

"Hey.." I hear in a whisper, my hair being tucked behind my ear.. I slowly opening my eyes, to realise I'm being woken up, Nathan is crouched down in front of me.. "Dinner is nearly ready.."

"Sorry.. I didn't realise you were back.. how long have I been asleep?" I ask rubbing my eyes as I sit up a little.

"I'm not sure, you were asleep when I got home.. I figured you were tired so I let you sleep, whilst I made dinner.."

"I'm sorry, I was going to cook for you for when you came home but.." I glance up to him, he's still crouch down to my height on the couch, he meets my eyes, before glancing down to my lips.. "I.. guess I was tired from not sleeping well last night.."

"It's ok sweetheart.." his hand places gently on my cheek, softly stroking it.. "You need your rest.."

"What have you made? It smells amazing.."

"I made your favourite.. homemade pizza.." he smiles, before taking my hand to help me up. He leads me into the kitchen where on the table it's set with a few candles and on a plate is indeed my favourite pizza..

"Oh Nathan.." I smile.. "It's perfect.."

"Come on, I promised you date night.." he gestures me to sit down so I do, and he takes the seat opposite me.. "I'm sorry for today, it's been a bit crazy, I didn't expect to get pulled into that meeting last minute.."

"It's fine.." I say with a small smile as I take a slice of the pizza.. "I was going to stay but I was so tired and it's been a long day.."

"It sure has.. you know I had a lot of people wish us congratulations today.. on the baby and the wedding.. even students.."

"Yeah?" My lips form into a proud smirk.. "Me too, so many people are happy for us.." He takes my hand across the table, holding it gently..

"They are.." he smiles, softly stroking my hand with his thumb.. "Isn't it a good thing?"

"Yeah.. absolutely.." I take another slice of pizza and take a bite.. "Baby is hungry.."

"Yeah I bet he is.." Nathan smirks at me.. "You gonna leave some for me or what.."

"I'd hurry up then because I can keep on going.."

"You're so adorable you know that?"

"Ohh you wait until I'm nearly due and you won't be saying that.."

"I will, even when you're mad at me, and can't stand my breathing, I'll still find you adorable.."

"Mhm.. course you will.." I take a sip of my water.. "So how was the meeting?"

"Mmm.. fine.." the expression on his face quickly changes, and I can tell something is bothering him.

"What was it for?" I ask, but he shakes his head.

"I don't wanna talk about it babe.." he quickly
shuts it down, and that really bothers me.

"So you gonna bottle it up, and let it bother to you?"
