Despite the teasing he had done to Angel, Lucifer was quite aware of what was actually located under the water. The Envy Ring's underwater City was simple yet outstandingly elegant. It was also where most of the residents of the ring lived, those who were aquatic Hellborn. The city itself was surrounded by a pocket of air, a protective bubble that ran off of Leviathan's magic. It allowed the Hellborns of Envy to walk around but the moment they left the bubble, they had to swim. It also allowed Leviathan to walk around in his repressed form, without the whole Sea Serpent thing.
Despite how single minded Alastor appeared to be on seeing Leviathan, he did seem to be taking in the sight of the underwater civilization. It was a rather impressive thing, and figuring out how to make it happen was something Lucifer had worked together with Leviathan to do. It wasn't easy by any means, and if something ever happened to the Sin of Envy, practically all of his ring would be washed away. Each of the Sins had their own thing, something that made them part of the standing pillars of Hell, that made them irreplaceable to their ring.
Lucifer pointed in the distance, turning his head in Alastor's direction. "That big gray and green building in the distance is Leviathan's house, it's where we're headed. Also, please remember, I do need him for what we're doing." He cannot kill Leviathan or hurt him to the point he won't want to help them. The Sin was vital to what they were doing, and he just stopped fighting with him over petty melodramatic father things.
He hears the demon hum, microphone cane tapping against his back between his shoulder blades. Lucifer spares him a quick glance and narrows his eyes at Alastor, daring him to argue the opposite. Instead of doing that though, he nodded his head in the direction of the city around them. "It is all rather impressive, I will give the Sin of Envy that." Which was as much a complement as he's fairly certain Leviathan is going to get. Especially when he felt the Radio Demon still wanted to kill Leviathan for what happened up top.
When he thought about the bloodshed that would come from Leviathan taking an interest in Alastor, it had not been on Alastor's side of things. He wonders if the demon is having fun with this.
Lucifer shook his head, a smile twitching on his face and hurried along the path. "Come on then." While he could have created a portal right into the Palace of Envy, he had wanted to give Alastor enough time to calm down that he was somewhat certain that bloodbath wasn't going to happen. At least not immediately. Besides, it was good for Alastor to actually get a view of the other rings, especially if he was going to continue helping Lucifer with all his tasks he did for Hell. Knowing the Seven Rings was essential to what they were doing, and knowing how they function fell in line with that. It wasn't as straightforward as it seemed. Especially since so much of this infernal realm ran off of him.
"See that building there?" Lucifer pointed in the direction of a building they were passing, drawing Alastor's gaze over toward it. "That's an underwater observatory. You can use it to look through the water at everything around. The fish in the distance, the predators that the water does have, nesting areas for the sea monsters. And I mean sea monsters which are different from aquatic Hellborns. Every ring has certain monsters that live in it, like our chimeras and cannibal ducks from Pride."
"Fascinating, do you want to go check it out?" The Radio Demon offered and Lucifer practically lit up in excitement.
"Really? Well, I suppose Leviathan can wait a few more minutes for us." And maybe, hopefully, his companion will calm down before they reach the palace.
Excitedly reaching his hand out he grabbed Alastor's elbow and started guiding him in the direction of the observatory. They walked along the blue crushed shell patterned street, passing the various aquatic demons that gave them bewildered and confused looks. It was unusual to have people like them in their underwater City, but it was even a first for a Sinner like Alastor and rare for Lucifer himself to be seen. Their curiosity was of course warranted, but thankfully none of them did more than throw a few glances their way. He doesn't actually want to interact with the demons, much less when he was with Alastor.
