It was decided that they needed to check in with the Hotel finally, after a week of not being around.

Lucifer had not been avoiding the Hotel, it was simply that they had so much to do going there wasn't much of an option at the time. Then getting to spend his evening with Alastor in Gluttony had taken up the rest of his day and they'd been so exhausted from all the work they were doing they just crashed in the bed. No one had texted him to tell him anything was wrong either, so he trusted that Charlie and Vaggie had everything under control.

Alastor though, after so long, seemed a bit restless in wanting to return. Which he did understand. The Radio Demon being there was what kept trouble away, and more often than not he ended up defending the Hotel from demons who showed up wanting to cause trouble. Lucifer saw that their first day of meeting and not that long ago Husk had said he dragged someone onto his show for trying the same thing. Bringing trouble and causing problems. Thankfully, Lucifer was quite certain that if someone did try anything with Alastor gone, Lilith would have stepped in. If only because Charlie would ask for help. But he could understand Alastor's worry with that. Not to mention, it had been a while since he held his Radio Show and certainly he was itching to do that again.

That morning before they left Lucifer had taken his time in getting dressed, carefully picking the clothes he wore and eventually settling on a pair of black pants and a white dress shirt with a dark red vest. Something simple yet comfortable at the same time. He'd pulled on his usual knee length heeled boots and collected his cane from beside Alastor's own. He had made sure the both of them had eaten something, that Alastor had a cup of coffee with his blood in it to satiate the worst of his craving.

When they were ready he took Alastor's arm and used his magic to move them from the Palace to the Hotel. The red energy popped them up in the middle of the Hotel Lobby and he released Alastor's arm, stepping away from him and glancing around. He did not see his daughter, but he did spot the usual duo at the bar. Or rather, they spotted them and quickly at that too.

   "Yo, Boss, welcome back."

Alastor hummed beside him. "Husker, my fine fellow, how have things been going? Any trouble in my absence?"

"The usual kind. The Princess' mother settled it quickly enough." Husk replied, shrugging his shoulders. "However, the Hotel has a very unusual guest." The cat demon's gaze darted over toward Lucifer and immediately the King tensed, his heart accelerating in his chest.

"What does that mean?" He demanded and the demon waved his hand in the direction of the hallway that led down to the ballroom.

   "Looks like you–"

Husk barely got the words out completely before the King of Hell was turning and rushing his way down along the hallway. His ears picked up the sound of his name from Alastor but they were more like a buzz in the back of his head as fear consumed him entirely. The doors of the ballroom came into view quickly and Lucifer stopped in front of them, grasping the handles and yanking them open quickly, stepping his way inside and darting his gaze around.

He found Charlie first, unharmed and animatedly discussing something about the Hotel itself. Lilith stood protectively behind her, hovering for certain and when her gaze darted toward the sound of the door he saw her relax marginally at the sight of him. If it was enough for him to notice her doing it, then she had been quite tense. When he turned his head to the side he found exactly who he expected to.

Setting his shoulders squarely he started making his way across the room in determination, not letting an inch of the fear circling through him show.

From where he was inspecting a crack in the floor, probably from the ball they held, Michael picked his head up at the sound of Lucifer's boots on the ground and strapped a smile on his face. Suddenly, Alastor's words echoed in his head again. A smile hides many things, Sire. It seems incredibly accurate, and he had no idea what was going on inside his twin's head at that moment.
