" Methylphenidate and Amantadine now! His EEG (Electroencephalogram) is fluctuating and his pulse is unstable we may have to use the defib (Defibrillator) if chest compressions don't stabilize him. "

Dr. Kim was astonished by what Mr. Yeoh showed him on the CCTV footage in the surveillance room he knew Hee-Seung and his little crew were trying to recruit fresh meat, but if what Sunoo did could be replicated maybe synthesized he could get commendation for all his hard work.

There it was lying on the gurney motionless his prized possession Kim Sunoo—God he needed this breakthrough. Dr. Kim hated being stuck in the facility day in and day out collecting, researching, and experimenting on fucking kids all day he wanted more, and now if Sunoo's DNA could unlock the secrets of life if he could make a death cure forget the commendation he could sell it for billions to any country of his choosing. Dr. Kim laughed maniacally at the thought wiping the tears from his eyes, he looked down at Sunoo's now peacefully sleeping form his pulse was now stable and the EEG showed normal levels of brain activity, he smiled and brushed the now white hair from Sunoo's face.

" I have such big plans for us."

Sunoo blearily opened his eyes and then immediately shut them the room was bright, and he tried to call out for someone to turn off the light but when he went to speak his throat felt sore and his mouth was dry he coughed clutching at his throat. Sunoo hoarsely called for water before he felt gentle hands cup his face and place a straw at his chapped lips he only took two sips before the refreshing water was moved away and the gentle hand guided him to lie down again. "I'm glad to see you're finally awake." Sunoo flinched at the voice that wasn't Hee-Seung— where am I? He thought trying and failing again at opening his eyes Sunoo winced at the intense burn opting to keep his eyes closed till the voice spoke out again about turning down the lights.

When he got the okay Sunoo opened his eyes—No wonder he didn't recognize the voice he thought Dr. Kim Stood before him with a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. "Sunoo, I hope you remember me I'm Dr. K-." Sunoo held his hand up stopping the doctor. "I know who you are it's only been a few days since I've been here let's skip the introductions, and can I please have the water back?" He asked hoarsely Dr. Kim scoffed and moved to hand the cup of water back to Sunoo, "Looks like the mutation changed you in more ways than one. This will make what I'm doing a lot easier." He sneered

Sunoo drank from the cup of water as he watched Dr. Kim move about the room and then leave, he sighed in relief hoping nothing would be done to him today when the door opened again and this time Dr. Kim wasn't alone he brought with him another boy who seemed unconscious being carried by Mr. Yeoh and another guard. Sunoo watched as they lay him on a gurney that was close to his and strapped him down. "I'm going to run some tests, but first I just need a few things from you."

Mr. Yeoh the daytime head of security and the other guard moved to Sunoo forcing him face down on the gurney and strapping his arms and legs down Sunoo tried to fight back but his strength had left him. Sunoo flinched when those same gentle hands as before trailed a rough nail down his spine causing goosebumps to rise. " I have to say watching you today gave me such great joy you know, I watched you die your rib cage splintering in half and piercing your lungs causing you to choke on your blood and I just had to see for myself what else you can do." The rough nail was replaced with a sharp and cool instrument that stung as it glided down his spine. " Your friend with the ice manipulation his EEG read the same as yours, and his pulse was erratic also until I defibbed him. Did you know you two are connected I'm not quite sure how but I'm going to enjoy finding out."

Sunoo cringed when the sharp glide disappeared and a warm liquid filled the space where his back arched and spilled down his sides he felt pain for a moment but it soon subsided the warmth being replaced with an ice-cold feeling.
