Chapter 40

Fall...

I'm back from LA. Atlanta, I'm inside you now. I'm now coming back from the airport and I'm driving to the AMP house. I sold my apartment because I don't think I'll be living there anymore. I deserve a new beginning and a new start. I then get to the AMP house and I exhale. I felt so good. I then walked to the door. I then opened it and everyone was in the living room.

"Is anybody home?"

Everyone started to cheer and then Duke got up and ran to me and picked me up. He really made me chuckle a bit because he was so excited.

"Not you acting like thi-"

He then kissed me and then I looked at him and I gave him another hug. I then started to laugh. Everyone else started to walk up to me and give me a hug. There was only three girls in the squad. Me, Callie and Ammi. There will be more AMP girls coming when the others decide to get some girlfriends but we'll see in the near future where this group takes us for real.

"Okay, everybody sit down. I ain't Beyonce"

Duke: You my Beyoncé for real.

"Don't do that nigga"

Chris: So how was the trip Dest?

"I was mostly at home, but to be honest, we had fun at home. I then reunited with my best friends from childhood"

Duke: Like who?

"Since when you get this nosey?"

Duke: Don't do that, I just wanna know.

"I was with the Faze members"

Fanum: You went to school with Faze?!

"Yeah in high school, but that's not the point"

Davis: So, did you enjoy the trip as you was resting before you work?

"Yeah, I was going to ask you when am I going to work?"

Davis: You, Callie and Ammi start tomorrow.

"And I don't get to rest when I just came back today, thanks a lot Davis"

Davis: I'm sorry, wait, I can cancel the day so y'all can work a day after.

"That'll be great, ain't that right girls?"

Ammi: I would love that.

Callie: Totally.

"Right, so I deserve a break. I took a long ass flight, it's needed"

Duke then looks at me and then he signaled for me to come to the kitchen.

Chris: What the fuck is wrong with this nigga?

Duke: Shut up nigga.

Chris: Sorry.

"What Duke? I just came back and you are acting like this."

Duke: Come to the kitchen, now.

I then get up and walk behind him and then I look at him and he looks at me.

Duke: Why didn't you answer my question?

"Are you deaf my nigga? I said I was with my childhood friends and they were the Faze members, like Josh and Max that's it"

Duke: Okay.

"Why you trippin?"

Duke: I'm just protecting you.

"I can protect myself"

Duke: Okay, whatever you say.

I then look away.
