Chapter 11

I n looked through the peephole and couldn't believe my eyes. Why is he there? Y'all it was Duke. Why is Duke at my front door and how does he know where I live? He don't got my number and he don't have any of my location. He then knocks again. I then open the door.

"What brings you here?"

He was wearing a black hoodie with some graphic black joggers and some Rick Owen's and his ski mask as his hat. He then puts his arm on the top of my door. Why am I going to say hello to him?

"You're not answering my question"

Duke: Ain't you gon let me in?

Why was his voice making me feel some type of way and this night barely speaks, his voice was deeper than a motherfucker. I said in my head. How does this happen?

I then let him in. I then walk to the kitchen to get a snack and he walks to sit on the couch and get himself comfortable.

"You're only here for like an hour, because I don't want my friends to catch me with you. What you here for?"

Duke: Aight bet, I just wanna talk. Get to know you

"Nigga please, I've got a boyfriend you've got a girlfriend. We can't be doing this. You've got to leave."

Duke: No, since you hanging with us, I've got to know who I'm hanging out with

"Boy, I ain't gon be there for long. Just ignore me"

Duke: It looks like you might be.

"What the fuck do you mean by that?"

Duke: Nothing.

Is this guy hinting the fact that he's going to slide into my DMs or some shit like that? Or is this guy indicating that I'm going to be with him? That's not gon happen. I'm not leaving Josh any time soon. That's my night for real. I can't do that to him for real.

"Duke, I actually don't know why you're here I need you to really hurry up on why you're here because I hate when my time is wasted"

Duke: I just wanna talk to you.

"About what though?"

Duke: Things.

"Like what? You know what? The door is that way. You wasting my time"

Duke: Okay, okay, I wanna break up with Kaliya but I don't know how to.

"Why you wanna break up with her?"

Duke: I'm just not into her and I feel like she controlling me.

And if she mentions my name then she's a pussy and she's just insecure but what I should say is be nonchalant and just tell her the truth and just be controlling. Duke then makes his way to the front door because he was making his way out. I then walk to the front door with him just to lead him out.

Duke: Thank you so much for your help.

Duke: Gotchu. Can you actually send me your number?

Duke then chuckled and I then see Gio and Karrah coming packed with some weed and then they see Duke walk in the elevator and then they acted confused.
