"Look how many people are here!" Jenna said with a proud smile as you entered the room of the theatre. "Wow, it's full!"

So many people were in attendance to see this new horror film that there were barely any empty seats left.

But you did spot a couple of seats available in the far back and after pointing to them, Jenna took your hand and walked to the very back with you.

You couldn't believe how many people were in attendance for your new film.

Everyone has been raving about it since the first trailer dropped a couple of months ago and now that it's finally out today, you couldn't wait to see their reactions to it.

A lot of eyes were on you and Jenna as you got comfortable in your seats and while you're used to being recognized while out with your girlfriend, this is different because this horror film is highly anticipated and your role is the one that everyone is most excited about.

Your character is witty and intelligent and since this is the first movie you're in since your relationship with Jenna became public, people seem very excited to see where you'll take this role and how well you'll do with it.

But there's a twist that no one sees coming.

You've played the final girl in a couple of films before but this time around, your character has been portrayed as that despite having a different fate.

That's one thing you've kept secret from Jenna, which is something you wouldn't usually do.

You always tell her about the different twists and turns the movies have and what happens to your character in the end because she likes knowing all of that.

But not this time.

Ordinarily, you'd tell her about the terrible fate your character has towards the end of the film but this is the first time you've played a part where your character gets killed off and you just don't have the heart to tell her nor do you want to spoil anything for her since this is such a different role for you.

The lights went down and the movie began, the scary music started to play in the intro to make everyone start to feel unsettled.

Jenna pulled you closer by wrapping her arm around you and you shared some popcorn while also resting your head on her shoulder.

The film was almost two hours long but for some reason, it seemed to fly by.

Jenna jumped a few times during the film, as did others in the audience.

But no one was prepared for what would happen soon, especially not your girlfriend.

As you were chased by the masked killer in the movie, your character found what was a good hiding spot... or so she thought.

She was found by the horror villain who seemed to know every place like the back of his hand and he snuck up on you before pulling you out of your hiding place.

Your character screamed and kicked her feet and tried to put up the fight of her life.

But as she took off running, she was caught and Jenna watched in shock and terror as she watched your character be killed off.

She gasped and stared at the screen, mumbling to herself as she did so.

"Please get up." She mumbled and stared intently at the screen.

She watched as your character shed a tear or two and gazed at the killer with the same look of shock on your girlfriend's face.

But when it cut to another scene of everyone else trying to run and flee the area, she knew that your character had died.

She looked at you tearfully and you let out a quiet chuckle before reaching out to caress her cheek.

"What's the matter, my love?"

"You didn't tell me that you died in the movie!"

"I'm sorry. I didn't want to spoil anything." You said before she threw her arms tightly around you.

"I feel so torn on how to feel right now." She said as she pulled away. "While I'm so in awe of how amazing you did in each scene and how you outsmarted everyone so much, that death scene felt so real. I feel proud yet so devastated because I didn't expect that at all. You're such a great actress that it all seemed so real."

"Thank you, baby. But it wasn't real. I'm right here."

You tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and tried to convince her that it was only a movie and though your character was dead, you weren't going anywhere.

But Jenna was shaken up by the unexpected death scene and while she knows how to separate the character and the person from each other after being an actress herself, it felt so real and so intense that it almost felt like she'd lost you.

Not to mention, she gets so connected to your characters that this just took her by complete surprise and she hated it.

"You should've been the final girl."

"I've been the final girl in other scary movies before. This time around, I didn't mind playing a character that was killed off." You explained. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I just didn't have the heart and I didn't want to spoil anything."

"I understand." She said before snuggling up to you. "But next time, spoil it. I don't think I can handle going through this again."

You chuckled and kissed her head lovingly as you brushed your fingers through her hair.

"Okay, my love. I promise."

And for the rest of the movie, she stayed snuggled up to you, refusing to let you go after what she had just watched.
