Mischa's Pov:

*BANG BANG BANG*

"Mischa Bachinski! Get up, now! Your prince charming is on his way!!" Ocean giggles from behind the door, putting on a "fairy godmother" voice as she announces her speech in a sing-song sorta way.

I grumble, burying my face further into the pillow. That is, until I realise. Ocean woke me up? Why is Ocean here? I panic for a few seconds, quickly sitting up and glancing around this unfamiliar room, until I remember what happened last night.

I kissed Noel, he ran away, I ran away, Ocean found me, and now I'm here. Okay. It's okay. I'm at Constance's house, everything is fine.

I hear knocking yet again, but this time it's quieter, further away. Oh.

"MISCHA SERIOUSLY GET UP!! HE'S HERE!!" She changes her joking tone to a more serious and rushed one, as she practically kicks the door in an attempt to make sure I'm awake, when really her scrawny legs can't do much more than a slightly loud "thump".

I hear muffled conversations behind the door, as footsteps slowly creep closer and closer towards the room I'm in. I shouldn't be this scared. I know who it is. It's only Noel. My Noel. Yet I can't help but feel a pang of fear in my chest, my brain flooding with different ideas on what could go wrong. Will it be too awkward? Will we argue? Do I look okay? Oh god damn it I haven't even brushed my hair- Or my teeth! What if we- What if we KISS again? Oh jesus.

"..Uhm- Can I come in?" I hear Noel's familiar, anxious voice whisper behind the door, a light knocking coming along with it. It takes me a moment to reply, now fully awake and aware about what's going on.

"..Okay." I mumble, quickly trying to push any stray strands of hair out of my face. Slowly, the doorknob turns, and there he is. As usual, he's dressed perfectly. He's in a pair of black skinny jeans, and a red zip-up hoodie with small black roses littered around the cuffs. He avoids looking at me until he's closed the door behind himself, picking at his chipped black nails for a moment before lifting his head to look at me.

We both just stare for a second.

"You- You look nice." I mumble, averting my gaze from his body to my hands, sitting up a bit as I do so.

"Oh- Thank you. You do too." I look up and see him smirk at that, his cheeks a light rosy colour. I'm sure he must just be trying to be nice, I probably look like an absolute tramp; my hair frizzy and messy having not been able to get my hands on a brush, the spare pajamas I borrowed from Connie's dad are much too big on me, making me look literally ridiculous.

Yet his smile seems genuine. Pure. Not malicious, like he's poking fun at me, but admirable.

I stand up and walk over to him, making sure not to stand too close to make him uncomfortable or anything. There's another pause of silence. I realise that if I say nothing, then we are going to be here all day. So I start listing everything that I've been wanting to say since he entered the room.

"Look- Look Noel I am so sorry that- I am sorry I kiss you, I should have asked you if you were okay with it and- and I know It- It- I must have made you feel uncomfortable but- But am very sorry, am so fucking sorry I should not have done it I just really really like you and understand if you want to forget it but you need to know- I like you so much I-" Over all my rambling, I didn't notice that Noel had stepped closer, his hands now lingering in the air close to my face. When his warm palms meet my even warmer cheeks, I stop talking and look at him.
